Sorry to hear both of your awful news ladies, hope you both get the strength and are able to try again I know it’s not easy esp after a miscarriage once you get that positive test your mind goes in to overdrive then all the plans and dreams you had for that wee baby are shattere, but your hurt will ease a little, sending big hugs to you both take care of yourselves [zx127]

Your so right babydream it's so hard that even when it's a positive we can't enjoy it because we know too well that doesn't necessarily mean that will result with a baby and a lot of ppl don't understand why we don't get too excited at the positive result.

I was supposed to but cutting a long story short I didn't stay for it. I'm sure everything will be normal enough as I have bled quite a bit.

I know its awfull to miscarry as ive had 2 its much easyer to get a bfn.im sure you should be ik if you have alot of bleeding.hopefull your period should come back normal quick enough.miscarry is so commen and i dont know why it is sweeped under the carpet it should be talked about more so people can understand what to expect even for men as they are heart broken to and feel helpless as they have lost to.

No to trigger. Thats only to bring on ovulation for egg collection so not needed for FET.

I have always had it in the past, clinic have just changed their protocol to not give it now, but consultant prescribed it for me anyway as have had it in the past and it worked. It also thickens the lining and gets the womb more ready apparently.

Babydream, I have only just seen, I am so so sorry, sending you so much strength xxx

Oh right. I'll bear that in mind. My first cycle was private but we had to suspend fresh transfer and went for FET instead. It took ages for my linning to thicken so they had to up my dose of tablets and also put me on patches

I have always had the pill, 3 weeks Buserelin injections, 4 Progynova tablets, Ovitrelle HCG trigger shot (a week before) and Cyclogest pessaries. They did a small study and it showed that it didn’t change pregnancy rates, but said it wasn’t conclusive as wasn’t a big research study. As it isn’t detrimental I just wanted to do it, as it worked before.

Have you ever had a scratch? I haven’t but have seen lots of positive stories of them, I was too late this time but if it doesn’t work then will be asking for one next time.

Have you tried acupuncture? I really believe it is good to get the blood flowing to the uterus. Acupuncturist says to keep your feet warm too, and a warm hottie on your back/tummy. And who knows what else but I try pomegranate juice, Brazil nuts, lots of protein, milk, eggs, chicken, advocado. Lots of warm foods to nourish the womb, chicken soup, stir fries etc xx

Yes going for the private and yes im with dr agbaje to.but i dont think it makes a differance when you get started again.if i waited for nhs it would have been nov for review then wait about 4 weeks to sign papers and get meds and start on day 21 its looken like once we oay for privateyour review is sooner but we wait longer after for the next appointment so it realy dosen make a differance we just end up paying money we dident need to.did you have a scan?has your period returned to normal?

I had my review appointment in June after a failed fresh ivf and was told it would be 3 months but I got my letter in August. I had to postpone cause I'd just started a new job and I didn't feel ready in myself to go through it all again. They said I'd get my letter again at the start of November so hopefully I'll be starting again soon and joining you all
