Aww Babydream and Newbs the 2WW is a killer and I honestly believe progesterone is the devil. Once I stopped taking it I defo lost some symptoms and like you guys felt different things everyday and lots of AF signs so don’t worry! I’m doing grand keepsmiling -waiting on this 7 week scan (another 1.5weeks to wait) to make sure everything is where it should be - once I have it I will believe it’s real!!

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow - like others said they will confirm trigger and EC - all very exciting then!

Good luck to everyone else this week xx

Baby dream feeling so down. Took a Tesco blue dye test only to get a negative but started reading about it and it says test 19 days after have sex so guessing that’s 19 dpo which I’m only 13dpo so trying to make myself feel I’m still in it. I’m due af tomorrow I think. I’m still a bit burpy and thing my smell is a bit sensitive but it could be in my head ( more than likely in my head).

Think I’m going to get a first response for tomorrow. Yes

The 2WW is getting to me as well :-( I’m 9dp 3dt I’ve had no symptoms other than cramping the day after transfer and tender boobs but I think that’s to do with the progesterone and even now I don’t feel any different at all but still trying to be hopeful but it’s so hard when you don’t know what’s going on but it’s only 5 sleeps until my test day and I think I’ll hold out cause I’m scared of the result :-(

Hope everyone’s doing good xx

Hi girls, scan was good and not good. Ec is on Tuesday but I’m running risk of ohs so they changed my trigger and after ec they give me an injection to try prevent ohs. I’m sooooo scared. I don’t want to have come this far, only for transfer not to happen now. Any advice apart from the drink lots of water that they told me this morn. Did any of u have this? x

How do they know? Too many follicles? Or are they too big?
I’m so sorry for you but You’re doing so well Keepsmiling. At least they picked up on it. It’s all out of your hands now. How does the EC on Tuesday work with your husbands swimmers? Did timing work out okay?

We kinda thought there was a chance ec brought forward so we timed it that would be fresh for Tuesday.
Lots of follicles (loads) and some very big - I’ve just responded well to meds (too well) and produced lots so have to be careful after they take eggs out as that’s the danger time. There was one that was 22mm..... far too big but majority was 14-16. I just hope they go ahead with transfer. Please pray that this works out for us.
All the best for tomorrow! Will be thinking about u! xx

to make sure you drink your 2 litres of water plus more you could buy a 2 litre bottle and keep it in the fridge so when your home you know what you’ve been drinking and can top it up again this is what I done.
Hope everything goes well I’ll be thinking about you

Awww keepsmilig praying that you will be fine.i didn’t get OHS until BFP so can’t give advice but think the RFC have picked up earlymorning and made those changes so hopefully you will be totally fine! Get the fluids up, I’ve also been eating a little bit extra salt (not too much) and also a glass of milk each day as it’s best for keeping you hydrated. Also don’t just lie around even if you feel bloated, try to do little walks and final advice, avoid big massive meals and instead eat regularly.

Everyone in the 2WW-it it a total head wrecker - I was completely 100% confident it hadn’t worked-my head had decided that it was over for us and was accepting that as I had no symptoms until 9 dp 5dt except little tiny bit of cramping. Then I got symptoms and only because I got OHS with HCG kicking in - not everyone gets this. I was told to test early because of these and tested 10dpt in evening and only got a very very faint BFP. I tested with the cheapies off eBay after messing up the one the RFC gave me. Hope that helps .

Keep positive guys - honestly you know nothing until Test day .

Love to all
Xx

Thanks bbird. Did you test before 10dpt? I’ve not tested today as I’ve given in to the fact that it’s over. My af is due today and test day is Wednesday so I’ll test Wednesday. I’ve got a 9.5% chance of being pregnant after having a negative test at 13dpo. Found a chart that tells percentages.

Hope everyone gets their BFp!

Hey Girls i don't usually write much on this. Ive been through my treatment but still come here to see how everyone else is getting on. There seems to be alot of you having the 2ww. I just wanted to say try and not write yourself out before test day. i know its easier said than done, but u have an equal chance that you could pregnant, take not having a bleed as a positive sign this far. Most people don't even know that there pregnant at this stage so looking for signs and symptoms only makes us feel worse. Plus i think the progesterone makes it impossible to tell either way. I didnt wait until my official test date either, i was intending to but had an old pregnancy test which was a year out of date so i tried that on the Friday after transfer which would have been 8 days after a 3dt. I got a slight positive that i think i nearly imagined it was so faint. However the next day i bought more tests :whistling: it got a bit darker but again barely visible. i had two embryos transferred which is why i think i got such an early (barely visible line). I just want to say that every woman is different and my friend only got a slight line on her test day. Ii can take some of us longer than others for hormones to rise. Stay positive girls :)

I know it's a horrible time. II didn' have any symptoms even with twins until at least a good month or two afterwards. I was just happy each day that passed that is didnt bleed and that kept me going.

Hi hopefullady,

Can I ask how it happened that you had 2 embryos transferred? Im waiting on reaching the top of list (1st time for IVF) and keep reading this forum as it's so much good info here. Seen a lot of people saying RFC usually don't like to transfer 2... wonder if there is some criteria to be met?

For me the egg collection and waiting for fertilisation was the worse part of the whole process. This was my first IVF as well so I feel so lucky to be pregnant now. I was told during scans that had 4/5 follicles on one side and 2/3 on other. Come egg collection I only got 3 eggs collected which at the time I was in bits over. I thought the chances of even one fertilising was slim when I read other girls posts having ten eggs and 4 fertilise I wasn't hopeful. The next day was the hardest phone call I ever had to make. I couldn't believe 2 fertilised and both held on until day 3 where the clinic decided to tranafer both back an I just took there advice. I feel extremely blessed and lucky to be pregnant now with twins.
