Sparkle hope everything goes ok!

Lilly & Cqcq my last cycle I had ohss kept having to go back for scans and bloods for 2 weeks so was an absolute nightmare. But on the positive side of it. If you look at the research the out come of fet is good as you won’t be stimming and your body won’t be under as much strain compared to an ivf cycle. I got my twins with my fet after my ohss

Icsi #2- Bfp 10/11/11, Miscarry 7 weeks

Ah CQCQ im sorry to hear that! I actually feel im getting better was waddling for about 5 days but yesterday was my 1 st good day but im just drinking over 2 litres of water cos its a struggle to get any more and taking it easy. Have you a appr arranged with them cos i was seen on monday there after my EC last Thur. i found i lost weight the firat few days then put it back on but starting to lose again
Thanks ODI i was chatting a consultant on monday and he said everywhere is slowing moving to frozen only slowly as it gives better results
CQCQ we must be simular are u RVH? I meet consultant on 2nd and its to sign consents for frozen but he said when i get back to a regular cycle of periods then they could look at restarting the treatment i know you feel gutted cos i was the same but at least we have support on here and eachother to chat about it.

I know Lily it was just hard to hear when they said it!! I meet with them on 4th and the nurse just said it was to ‘make a plan’ I would be hoping to start again after my first cycle lol yeah I’m RFC!! I’m loosing a few pounds over night but within 1hour in the morning I’m up like 4lb again!! I’m trying to drink small but frequently to stop the sudden bloat!! This is only my 3rd day since EC so I suppose it’s still very soon!!

Have you rang about your embryos yet?? I’d love to ring for a 3 day update on mine lol x

Hi Ladies

Everyone seems to be doing great. Hopefully there'll be some positive results in teh next few weeks!!

I am starting my injections this evening. Slightly nervous for doing the first one. The last couple of weeks have went past quickly enough so here's hoping that the next couple go the same way.

I didn’t suffer too much with EC, was a bit uncomfortable but not as bad as I thought it’d be xx

Sparkle, that's a fab number! Well done. I'm sure you are so relieved. Hope they are all fertilising nicely. I was in GCRM yesterday am too for my 7 week scan, so our paths may have crossed.

CQCQ and Lilly, the OHSS is awful, I feel your pain. My ovaries are still very swollen weeks on, but nowhere near how bad it was. It took me two full weeks to feel better but you will get there. Keep drinking the fluids. It feels wrong at the beginning because it's going straight to your abdomen, but after a few days it does start to make a difference.

Dusky, I am excited for you to get started! Wanabeee good luck for EC, the procedure is fine.

Lots of luck to you all! xx

hi hopeful girl .. thank you so much
i will tell you what i did but i really dont know if any of it makes a difference or not but i suppose we will try anything.

i had no coffee or alcohol.. i did have cups of tea
i drank smoothies for breakfast every morn during stimms.. with kale etc in them
i ate chicken salads most days for lunch and tried to include broccoli and a meat in most of my dinners lol
i drank 2 litres of water every day, big glass of milk each day and handfuls of nuts (brazil/cashew) every day
i stopped the gym and only went for wee walks
had a hot water bottle attached to me every day fertility reflexology once a week
relaxed when possible

apart from those things not much different. i ate lots of chocolate over easter lol so that didnt do any harm and i had a wee take away or 2 if i didnt make dinner. i really think not alot of it matters, water/milk is important and a daily multivitamin and have a 80% good diet and no alcohol . dont stress over what you are doing.. i think its improtant to stay relaxed as possible xx

hope this helps.. its just my wee things i did..im not saying these things are a must or anything , everyone prob has their own wee tips and tricks xxx

Hopeful girl I did pretty much the same with diet/exercise and fertility reflexology weekly for last few months. I think the quantity all comes down to the dose of stims and how we respond to the meds, bmi etc. Good luck
