Sorry CQCQ I missed your reply. I don't get another update, they told me to just turn up on Saturday. Just hoping I have some surviving embryos, guess the odds of 5 stopping developing are slim - just have to trust the experts I guess.

I'm going to ask tomorrow what they suggest for the belly pain. It's getting better everyday though, so fingers crossed it was to do with the prodding around at egg collection.

Hope the sprays are going ok? I got awful headache with them. Maybe i'm just a headachey type of person! x

Just had my call, i've gotta wait until Saturday for my transfer. I have 5 now. I'm going to take Monday off work, so hopefully a few days rest will be enough to give myself a good chance.

Have you had your call yet tansy34?

Hope you're doing OK Si_17.

xx :)

Hi Pup, just seeing this now, sorry for delayed reply. I am in tomorrow for 5 day transfer. I have mild OHSS so it was touch and go whether the clinic would go ahead, but my bloods were ok, so it's all happening tomorrow hopefully. Hope you're keeping well xx

No worries! Sorry to hear about the OHSS, when did the symptoms start? Hope you feel better soon. Fingers crossed for tomorrow! We can then get through the 2ww together...although it’s more like 11 days as I’ve been told to test on Wed 28th! I’m gettimg a bit paranoid about any slight belly ache (which I’m sure I had before the transfer) but keep thinking I’m going to start bleeding or something. Guess it’s natural to dread anything going wrong. Feel ok apart from my mind over thinking! Good luck and let us know how it goes xx

that's amazing Sl. Did you have any other symptoms? How soon do you get a scan?

Back home from transfer, all went well. Just have to wait now... Pup my test day is the same as yours, it will be a loooong 9 days! My OHSS got worse over the weekend. I was sore after EC but it didn't get any better and I went in for a scan yesterday which showed that my ovaries are so swollen, they are touching each other. I was too uncomfortable to sleep but I feel better today, and the consultant commented that I looked better so hopefully it will settle. xx

Are they treating your OHSS or is it just a matter of letting it settle? What strength was your medication? Hope you feel better soon!! X

Thank you CQCQ. Keeping everything crossed now! It is just a matter of letting it settle, though if I feel worse, I'll get in contact. I slept a good bit yesterday afternoon and chilled out (something I am not very good at) and that seemed to help. I was on 225 Menopur prior to trigger. That was an increased dose from 150 because I was a high risk for OHSS due to high AMH. What stage are you at?

Hopefully you get a scan soon Sl, and you can see your little bean! It's so exciting. That's a lot of symptoms, hope you're keeping well xx

I am still on down reg stage, that’s why I was asking because I also have high AMH and was told I’m at risk of OHSS so I’m also scheduled for 150 menopur!! Ahh I can chill out the very best when I’m told because that means it’s guil free lol x

Hi Tansy, glad your ET went ok and exciting that we have the same test date. I always thought it’d be a longer wait! I’m supposed to be working on test day but think I’ll book the day off! Either way I won’t feel like work!

OHSS sounds really sore! Hope you feel better soon. Did you have 1 transferred? Have you had any frozen? Xx

The OHSS isn't too bad now thanks girls. I am a bit breathless and my tummy muscles are sore but not as bad as it was. I just feel a bit fatigued generally but think the progesterone can do that. I got 7 frosties, and one transferred.

You're just right booking the day off work Pup, I'm sure you will have something to celebrate! xx

CQCQ they may increase your dose, just be prepared for it to take a bit longer for you to get where you need to be. I was an extra 5 days on the stims x

Girls, quick question rather than calling hospital if you could help me first.
I had kept all meds in fridge until I realised the Synarel didn't have to be refrigerated so took it out last night before my first spray this morning. Will it be ok now that it was out over night?
I have the Befola in fridge along with Trigger and Crinone Gel
Does the gel need to be in fridge? I was a little confused reading notes last night.
TIA

Wanabeeeee, I have high AMH so had lots of eggs at EC, and luckily 10 fertilised, and of those, most were of high quality. In terms of what I did, I've been doing acupuncture for a while which I think helps. I cut alcohol and caffeine months ago and in the lead up to EC, my husband cut right down on alcohol too. We both try to eat well and do lots of exercise so maybe that helps too. I try to cut down on sugar but it is an ongoing battle! xx

Crinone doesn’t need to be stored in the fridge. The spray should be fine but if you’re worried phone the rfc. Good luck ladies!

I am on Syneral for 3 weeks and had a period a week late. I bled heavy for 2 days and have had bits of blood here and there since, this will be day 9 of it. I have heavy headache this 2 or 3 days and am snappy as f***. Just generally feeling unwell this 2 days. I seriously can't remember if this happened last time. I think it did but not for 9 days. The other thing is I have been having acupuncture and have been having heavier periods from I started that. I wonder is this period thing just a combination of syneral and acupuncture and my body clearing itself out or should I be worried now that I still seem to be bleeding on and off?
