Synarel

Hi guys, can I take paracetamol with Synarel? Absolutely bursting headache. Will it even help?

Hi Anniebell, yes you can. I used synarel on my first fresh cycle and didn't bother me at all. I then used it for FET and it was awful. I had really really bad headaches, sinus and eye infection. I rang the RFC and nurses told me it was fine to take paracetamol. I've just started medication for second FET today and I'm taking the pill rather than synarel as it affected me so badly before. Good luck Anniebell. Xxxxxxxxxx

Had a whole message and the damn thing won't send it. Ready to scream. This does not help the short fuse I have suddenly got at all!!!!

Anyhow other effects are tiredness and like lethargic limbs if that makes sense.

And thank you for replying xx

I was absolutely wiped the first week or so I took it, like you heavy limbs and tiredness. Period came and I was a monster but now symptoms have settled down to just crying at odd times, e.g. Opening Christmas presents! Oh dear haha

Hey ladies. I have been on the sprays for 33days and I start injections tomorrow. It seems that long ago since I was shown I forget what to do. It's such an over load of information. I have a feeling the next 2 weeks are going to fly in.

I can't actually believe I am looking forward to the injections. The taste of the spray is the worst thing. Don't actually feel as rough today although there were moments. I start the jabs on 17th Jan.

Damn message is all disappearing again. That is so annoying. Anyhow, I rang as well as we wait long enough. Appointment letter takes ages to come anyway I thought.

Joys how are you after your injection. Truth be told I am bricking it cause I hate medication and always convince myself I'm gonna drop dead after taking something, completely stupid I know but I am really nervous about it.

Hiya, for those of you on or finished sprays. I should be changing mine on Monday but there still seems to be loads left so the doubting Thomas has started again. Am I even doing the damn thing right. One minute I'm convinced I am and the next theres no way I done it right lol. I defo feel something in each nostril so I must be. Did any of you guys find the bottle wasn't empty by the time you should change it?

Hi Anniebell

On my last cycle I forgot to change my spray, until 4-5 days later (big panic!). There was still some left in the bottle, even though it says 30 doses (15 days). When I eventually changed my spray, I realised that I wasnt probably getting a full spray. It made absolutely no difference to the cycle.
I am back on the spray again and have it well marked on my calendar to change bottles!

I think it's such a long time from seeing the nurse explaining the medication to your next appt for a scan - that it is easy to doubt yourself. This is my third time and I still have questions.

Hi little orchid. Would you recommend changing spray on date needed or wait till bottle empty? Such a minefield. God knows what jabs will be like.

I swapped every 15 days just to be on the safe side as couldn't work out of the bottle was finished or if the weight of the bottle itself made it feel like there was some left. They told me at ptc that there is usually extra in each so keep old bottles incase the dates of scans etc change and you need a bit more for a day or two. I was given three bottles as on the spray for 44 days in total.

I have 3 bottles as well. I tilted my head forward this morning again to do it and it honestly dosent feel right at all. I'm gonna stick to just standing straight. The only thing is I know if this fails Ill blame the way zi took spray. Why do we worry over the little things?

Anniebird- change every 15 days.
I am sure the spray is getting into your system. You will know if it ‘shuts down’ your cycle as you won’t have a period again when you are due.
I know it’s not for everyone but have you tired fertility relaxation cds etc? There are ones on YouTube. I use the Zita West relaxation cds.

Ladies I was up at the clinic on Wednesday for my scan to check how the injections were going and my meds were increase another 75. I'm now on 225 but my second scan was changed to Sunday instead of monday. They never told me a time, ( I was that busy trying to get my head around the 2nd injection) I think I just assumed it was 7.30 same time as the original. Now they are closed!! What do i do?

Hi Babycakes-

I am not sure what to advise. Turn up for 7.30am and hope for the best?

In the past I had a weekend appt for egg collection, there was very little people about. No one on reception, and the door of the Rfc wasn’t even open! Just letting you know in case you arrive and panic! We asked at the maternity entrance (the irony I know) and they let us in the side door as there was no one around?

All the best x

My husband is disabled, so I've had to do the injections myself. I have found it ok. First cycle I used an ice pack on my leg each time to numb it a bit, but this time I haven't bothered with the ice pack and haven't noticed any difference! The needle is really narrow. The thinking about it is definitely worse than the actual injection!

My husband has been injecting me. He insisted on helping with that part. I haven't had any effects from the injections. I feel great now! No hot flashes or night sweats anymore from the sprays. If im honest I thought I'd never reach this point. Just about to take my last bemfola and my trigger is due at 9pm tomorrow night. I'm so excited for us all
