I called again this morning and the lady said they are currently sending for people that went on the list at the beginning of March, but haven't some of you guys already received letters that went on in March? She said I should expect a letter in 6 weeks I was put on the list 29th April 2017.
If anyone else calls and gets more concrete information please share, I will give a call next week again.

I wish one of us knew someone that worked in that department or even in the same area that could give accurate feedback. I'm going to try and accept that it takes them a month to send letters for each month i.e. it will take them until the end of Jan to do all of March, Feb to do April etc - so hard having patience at this point, but if I try to accept that wee plan then anything quicker is a bonus!

Hi girls, I’ve been pretty quiet on here since I got put on the waiting list 27th April. I called up today to check where the list was at as I’m getting married at the end of the month which is when I was expecting to hear back but was just told the generic 9-10 months. If anyone is calling today let me know if you are given more info, I’m starting to get really impatient now!

I just called when I saw your post Rachel2304, the lady on the phone said they have just send out letters up to the 9th March but keep ringing as each week the number of letters will vary.
I went on the list on the 27th April too.

Amazing Wannabee, we probably passed each other in the Grove without realising! I thought the list was further on than 9th March, more waiting to do! I’m just like you Violetrose, I just want to get started with everything now, feels like we’ve been waiting for ages...

So glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. I don't even feel like I can plan anything for the rest of the year as it is all so unknown.
Last year I signed up for loads of things that you couldn't do if you happened to get lucky. I was secretly hoping I'd have to cancel some of them. I don't want to feel like that for another year.

I’m the same ..... my hubby got me a 4 night holiday in may for Christmas and when I opened it my heart sunk because instead of being surprised and exited my first thought was S#%T what if we are having treatment then or have an appointment etc I have felt so bad about it ever since!! Plus I was almost angry at him for not thinking about that.. how awful is that!!!! :rollseyes: ;( but we need to remember that life must go on I suppose!!!

You’d think we’d all be pros at waiting by now considering how long it has taken us to get to this point alone! I’m just glad I have my hen do/wedding/honeymoon to keep me occupied for the next month and hopefully my letter won’t be long in arriving after that. Once those distractions are out of the way though I think I’m going to find it hard to focus on anything else!

Hi girls hope use are all hanging in there, the waiting towards the end is awful it really takes over your life, i felt the exact same as all use, i litterly put life on hold wouldnt make plans or anything incase id be going through treatment, i got my letter 7 weeks ago and will only be starting nasels on friday so my advice is to do what you can now the amount of weekenfs away ect i missed out on because i was scared id be going through treatment, i nearly cancelled my wedding for the same reason and am married 4 months now lol so although it does feel amazing reaching the top of the list there is still quite a wait until treatment starts! Really wishing use all the best and hope use get your letters soon xx

I remember i thought i get my letter then bam straight into the treatment but its not really like that you get your letter then around three weeks later u go for a blood test then 2weeks after that you go for your pre treatment appointment and you get your meds and your scedule and you start then on your day 21, but say if the pre treatment appointmnet was on maybe day 26 of your cycle u have to wait until your period comes before you get your scedule its all a waitng game lol enjoy your time away in feb, i had a brilliant cmas and made the most of socialising and having a drink with friends x

Delighted for you bgirl, roll on your appointments!

Just thought I’d give a wee update..... I rang today and they said waiting list is 10months!! I swear it’s getting longer instead of shorter!! ;( I was trying to work out if my turn would clash with my holiday... and I think it will!! How bloody typical!! Plus can’t believe we have to wait about 6weeks for first appointment after we ring to accept, that just seems so long!! Brings the waiting list pritty much up to 1 year mark!!

Sorry rant over!! ::P
