Delighted... I just rang RFC to see when my letter should be arriving as I was a bit anxious last week a girl on phone told me 9 months wait so approximately end of April. When I rang today the girl on phone said it was posted today and should expect it in the next few days. I'm so excited and relived that things are finally happening. What should I expect next?

Hope you are hanging in there wishing.

Yogamini - fingers crossed that Thursday and beyond goes well.

I started downreg spray last month and have been taking progynova tablets to build up my lining. Kind of messed up slightly as I forgot to change to my second bottle of spray and for a few days I realised I wasn't getting full dosage! :S So hoping my scan is fine this week to go ahead with ET. We have 3 Frosties so praying we will have one that thaws ok. The consultant said they would do a single transfer for all the usual reasons and that our previous icsi worked out with SET.

Brilliant news princess- I found it kind of surreal when I got my letter after months of waiting.

Congrats wishing on you BFP great news.

I rang today to accept my letter and asked the girl would she no when my appointments are as I just started a new job and want to give as much notice as possible for appointments. The girl wasn't able to say and told me that a letter will be posted out with dated and roughly first will be in 6 weeks time? Does this sound right? I thought from other comments here it is usually 2 weeks after offer letter for first appointment? Can anyone offer any advise? Thanks

Hope you found EC ok yogamini- fingers crossed fertilisation goes well.

Oaky and princess- best of luck for your treatment. Although it is frustrating continuing to wait- I found it easier waiting on a definite date than a vague 7-9 months watching the post everyday.

I had my scan to check my lining this week and all looks ok for next week's transfer- provided the thaw works out. Pretty irritable today so it must be getting to more than I think or the effects of the medication. Would love a glass of wine but my Zita West relaxation cd will have to do!

Thank you ladies... This forum has been a great support. It just wasn't meant to be for us so we are moving on. We're gonna take a much needed break and may move onto adoption. Staying positive that we will have our family in the end!

My time, my heart goes out to you. It's much harder to take when you get to transfer and 2ww. Give yourselves time. It's such a cliche, I know, but it does heal. Big hugs x x

To all the other ladies on this forum... Baby dust to all! X

Girls...help. As some of you may know I had double embryo transfer of two blasts in 15th Feb. 7 days post transfer I got a positive on a first response and a pregnant 1-2 on clear blue. 2 days later I took my period (on day it was due). It was heavier than normal and lots of clots (sorry for tmi). I've had chemicals before so assumed it had happened again. I went ahead to get hcg measured at 12days post transfer (I had made this appointment myself when I got my first positive. My hcg was 76. When I called for result receptionist just said doc said it was "low". I have been feeling bausoues this last few days and took a test and clear blue digital said pregnant 2-3?! Could I possibly be pregnant?! My head is a mess!

I have just phoned the RFC to see where I am on the waiting list and they advised me there sending out for May last year, although Princess C got her letter last week after being put on the waiting list in July last year! This is extremely frustrating, I'm now into 7 months referred in August 2016 and now there telling me there only on May! Does anyone think there just saying this to stop me from ringing, I am so annoyed this wait it terrible. They seem to tell you something different every time you ring ?o(

Poor response to bemfola injections

Hi girls,

I've been loitering on this site a while reading about all of your stories, and now feel I should join for some advice and support. Am in midst of first privately funded ICSI treatment at RFC, synarel spray and have my last bemfola 450 injection to take today. Had 2 tracking scans this week, first showed some activity in ovaries with possible follicles, had second scan yrday & a blood test which has come back poor. The nurse said I could stop treatment or continue to EC on Monday of next week but there may not be any eggs. Obviously am totally devastated, we knew it wouldn't be loads of eggs but none at all is a total shock. Just wondering if any of you ladies have been in this boat, and gone ahead with the EC with any success? Just to help me through this weekend, am a bit of a teary mess tbh! ;(

Thanks everyone for reading,
Katie G

For those of you that have already done treatment at RFC how soon did you start injections after you collected your schedule and drugs at the 2nd appointment? I'm on Prostap which i think can be used to down reg so just wondering if i may start very quickly after i get the drugs onto stims?xx

Hey Ladies so emotional this week. Been thinking loads that this has been the last month of just over 2 years of TTC we could have possibly conceived naturally. I was always just clinging on to some hope there was a small chance it could happen itself. But as I'm passed that stage now and have our first appointment for treatment at the end of this month I'm just so anxious now. I've coped quite well with the odd wee slip up and now im just getting quite nervous about starting.

Frozen Embryo Transfer

Hi Everyone

Not sure i am not the right thread for this but juts wondering if anyone could help. Currently taking synarel spray fro my first FET. My scheduled advise to ring the royal if period hadn't arrive on monday. Period still not here and I am booked tomorrow for blood test, does anyone know what it means if period doesn't start, does it delay the whole schedule or will i have to maybe increase the dose of synarel spray

thanks in advance

Hi wilkinson, don't worry about this. On my last cycle my period was late and I went for blood test but they said the levels in my blood were fine and I would still be able to continue and start my injections two days later and my period arrived the next day so I'm sure you will be fine.
Princess I know exactly how you feel. I'm starting my third treatment on Monday. First two failed. My problem is this is my second privately funded treatment and may well possibly be the last. My sister in law has a 3 weeks old baby and my sister is due in 11 weeks and now it's possibly getting towards the end of my IVF journey I'm starting to struggle that I may never experience what they have. As much as I love my nephew and will love my sisters baby it's difficult.

Hi Vicks. There isn't really a list. As long as your bloods are up to date and you have had your review if you phone u should be sent a date for your schedule appointment and get meds. Although you have to pay for everything before the first appointment but you will be sent price list with consent forms

Thank you! I was put on the list 11th August, and the letter was posted 8th march I received it on Thursday there, I am so much more relaxed now knowing this is it and it's really happening, my first app is the 12th April and second is the 26th April. Do you know if on the second app you get your schedule and meds then begin when you get your period? Is that the way it works? Xx
