Travel insurance for egg donation overseas

Hi

We are looking to travel to Spain / Southern Cyprus for ED and would like to know any information about insurance we should take out for this kind of treatment?

If we go to the EU do we need any other than the EU medical card, would all costs be covered under this scheme?

What happens regarding cancelled flights, delays, theft overseas etc? Our annual provider says they do not cover if travelling for medical treatment.

Thank you!
Fleur
