Anyone had success with a day 2 transfer

We are having ET tomorrow after EC yesterday. If both make it through the night we will have them both put back on board tomorrow. 8 eggs collected, 5 were mature and only 2 fertilsed so they are putting them straight back in.

I feel like this is not going to work for us and so just wanted to see if there was anyone out there that could help with my PMA by sharing their success stories

Jojo

Hi Jojo,
There are a lot of success stories in here with a day 2 transfer, so try to keep up the PMA.
The process of ivf is a very stressful one and the wait for ET is just awful. Try to keep busy so you don't worry too much.
I wish you all the best for ET and for the 2ww.
Lots of babydust

I remember being really upset when the emryologist told me we were doiny day 2 rather than blasto that we had done on the first cycle. My day 2 trf was successful and I now have a lively 2 year old!!! : D

i had a 2 day transfer in march after IVF. 12 eggs, 4 fertalised & 2 suitable for transfer. a 3 cell & 4 cell. am currently 25 weeks pregnant with singleton. worried like you about 2 day transfer but alot of people told me that the embryo does better in its natural environment.

good luck for test day x

Thanks all, I hope to join your success stories

yesterday I had a 3 cell and 4 cell put back on board so am PUPO. they were grade 2.3 and 3.3 so not the top grade but the embryologist said anything 2-4 is good and viable and could make a baby and she said they would not put them back if there was no chance. i feel heaps better knowing that they are back on board and your wonderful stories have given me back the pma and hope that I need to get through the next 2 weeks.
