Bio Sculpture / UV Gel & IVF?

This may sound like a daft question.. but I'm full of them at the mo!

Ive heard someone say you shouldn't wear nail varnish as it interferes with the pulse monitor they put on your finger when EC / ET?

My nails are driving me mad & keep snapping.. I really wanted to use Bio sculpture gel again but now not too sure if I can.. I'm a way off treatment yet as may have to wait a further 4wks to be accepted for the egg share programme but if I do the gel its not something you can just whip off with varnish remover so not sure if I can??

Yes you are not allowed nail varnish on toes or fingernails during e/c. I don't think you're allowed false nails either. I would ask the clinic.

Hiya hun

I have Bio Sculpture on my nails and yes you do have to make sure it has been removed at least a week before ET to allow all chemicals to be washed off your nails and skin. But until that point enjoy!
