Hi!

Hi Everyone! I am not quite new here as registered a little while ago now but, I haven't been on much since just basically reading posts and just plucked up the courage to introduce myself. I am 29 my DH is 46. We have been trying to conceive both of our first since June 2003 without success. We were referred for fertility tests in Dec 2008 and after nearly 2 years of appointments for tests, counselling and procedures, my dh was diagnosed as having NOA. We were referred for treatment at GRI in Aug last year and got our first appointment through last month for 3rd February. We think it will be ICSI we will be offered as DH doesn't produce enough swimmers for regular IVF or IUI with his own sperm and we will only consider DIUI as a last resort when it's absolutely proven we cannot have a biological child together and there is evidence we can as DH had a TESE biopsy in Feb '10 & they found 1 sperm although it was non-viable (their explanation was that it was 'too immature' We had this along with our fertility tests done in Hampshire but we have since moved back to Scotland to live as it's where I come from originally and we were living in Scotland before moving South three nearly four years ago.

Hi and welcome to FZ. I'm afriad I can't help with male facture problems as the problem lies with me and not my DH. However, I'm sure there will plenty of others on here who will be able to offer you some advice if you need it.

Wishing you the best of luck with your appointment in February and your ICSI journey.
