Donor eggs at ivi valencia-help please

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone out there could give me some advice please- I am 41 and my DH is 39, after 4 failed icsi attempts and 1 bfp ending in m/c, we have decided with advice from our consultant to go down the donor egg route. Our clinic has links with IVI Valencia and would do all required tests, consents and scans here and we would only travel for ET. Unfortunately we are not able to get a consent appointment until September and feel we can not wait till Sept with the possibility of waiting another 3-6 months after this for a suitable donor, therfore we have decided to arrange to go to Valencia for consents ourselves. I wondered if anyone has gone to IVI Valencia, how easy they found arranging it, where did anyone stay and if like us you travelled from glasgow how did you get there? Sorry for so many questions but my head is a bit pickled thinking about arranging it all, thanks to anyone who can help!

I went to IVI Valencia.
My advice would be to 'shop around' a little... and get a 'feel' for a few clinics before deciding as its an expensive business.
Also make sure you know what your getting for your money. We all have different expectations and different things are important to us...ie donor information.

Wishing you lots of success with your treatment.
