Hayfever & asthma medications

My DH is suffering at the moment with hayfever which also causes symptoms of asthma. He gets this every year and usually uses hayfever tablets and nasal spray which usually does the job. I'm a week away, hopefully, from starting stimms and we both worried that him using the tablets and spray might effect his sperm. Does anyone know about this???

Sperm takes about 90 days to be made, so what happens now should have little effect. Look at the ingredients of the medications and then check with the clinic as I'm sure they will be able to tell you.

Trouble is that the leaflet in the medication won't say "don't take if you are doing IVF as it may lower sperm quality"! And I can't ask my clinic any questions (they are a nightmare and I've already been told that I ask too many questions!! - when I haven't really asked many). xxx

They do sound evil your clinic!
What about seeing a doctor and asking them? As I said I don't think it matters as much as sperm takes 3 months to be made, just double check or let your DH do it.

Yes they are evil! And I'm dreading seeing the Wicked Witch (my doctor!!) on Friday for my scan.

I've posted to the Sperm Scientist now so hopefully he might be able to answer. Thanks hun. xxx
