Lupus

Does anyone else on the site suffer from Lupus? I am looking for people in a similar situation to us.

Hi Bron,

I don't have Lupus and can't think of anyone on the site who does, not that I know of anyway. You have all my sympathies. My mum's friend has Lupus and it's been a really difficult thing for her, with lots of consequences. So sorry, I can't offer you practical help, but I do feel for you as it's a pain of a disease to have to live with.

Like Ruthie, I can't think of anyone who has it, but that doesn't mean to say they are not around. I would suggest you start a new thread on the main section of the site - the immunology section is very specialised and more people will be reading the other more main sections than in here. That way you might find someone who is in the same position as you or people who don't have it might know someone who does and would like to make contact. I also take my hat off to you - my auntie has lupus as well as other things wrong with her and so I know how hard it can be to live with this illness. xxx
