For my previous cycles at Derriford, they ordered the drugs from different pharmacists each time for me, but I guess if you ask what it is you are actually being prescribed there can't be much stopping you shopping around?? I'd be interested to know what they say....

Hi Tammy and Jamie

We're satelliting from Treliske at Derriford (if that makes sense) and use Calea UK for ours: they're quite cheap and include some for free. Let me know if you want their details.

Hi Tammy and Jamie

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you about this but I am a sievehead. Treliske gave us our prescription and recommended Calea as I think they have some kind of arrangement with them but it's worth trying them.Phone number's 0870 749 2020, enquiriesuk@calea-online.com or www.calea.co.uk

Hope that's helpful. DH took zinc, folic acid and cut down his alcohol consumption on the 3 month run up to his retrieval in June and to quote Dr Acharya there were bucketfuls (we took particular delight in proving him wrong!).

I had my last lot of drugs from Calea too and it was very reasonable.

If your Dh is taking vitamins, get him to take a multi vit with added Zinc and Selenium, plus a separate high dose Vitamin C (helps the body absorb the other vits) - Dr Acharya recommended this to us and Dh had much better swimmers this time around (plus we got our BFP!!!)
