Best clinic in the south west/midlands

Hey all, hope you are all well and your respective journeys are progressing well!

We are looking to do IVF with an egg donor and host surrogate, and have just received our appointment request from our local GP. They have suggested four clinics to us, these are:

John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford
Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading
St Michaels Hospital Bristol
Royal United Hospital, Bath

Our first choice would be Bath since that will be our local one, however, if there is a 3 year waiting list for an egg donor and a success rate of 15% we would probably look elsewhere!

So if anyone can give us any advice or experiences on any of these clinics that would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Adam and Claire

Hi

Not been to any of these but if you look for the HFEA website, all of them should have their success rates on there - and the clinics themselves will have them on their own websites I bet, too. This was the major factor for us in choosing a clinic.

Good luck!

Thanks for that. We have had a little look on these sites and its a start but have found that often the information is a little sparse and also slighlty outdated.

We were hoping to supplement some of this information with some anecdotal evidence as well.

Oh, and if you accidentally google HEFA instread of HFEA you get directed to the 'HEart of England Ferret Association'.

You couldnt make it up!

Thanks for your reply though rb76.
