Best clinic for low AMH?

Hi,

I've just had my second round of IVF, short protcol this time and I only had three follicles which produced two eggs, everything went well but they stopped developing between day 2 and day 3 (stayed at 2 cell and 5 cell with little fragmentation) so were never transfered back.

My consultant has said it is highly unlikely I will conceive with my own eggs and doesn't feel it would do any good to stimulate me again and to consider egg donation as he doubts I would have any problem getting pregnant with donor eggs.

I already had a beautiful daughter now 4 and would love for her to have a sibling , since then I've had two ectopics. My contultant said last year when he found out my remaining tube was blocked that it was unlikly i'd get pregnant naturally, two weeks later I found out I was preganant, again it was ectopic due to the blocked tube.

When I had my antrol follicle done at the begining of this year there were 13 follicles seen (which was to be expected with my age) then after my first round of IVF Long protocol in which I didn't respond well only 1 follicle, they did an AMH test and found I had a low amh.

So I guess where I'm going is that I still feel that there is a chance of getting pregnant with my own eggs if I can just get one of them put back in, if that doesn't work then I guess I've done as much as I can do and my daughter is destined to be any only child.

So does anyoneknow of any clinics that are good at treating a older lady (41 just) with low amh.

thanks and apologies for all the waffle.

hi boo, sorry about the canceled cycle. after reading your post i believe that you have got every chance of conceiving with your own eggs. your antral follicle count is very good , really and i dont see any reason why you shouldnt try again.

my AMH is also quite low , my antral follicle count also was not that good for my age, it was 14 ( i'm 31 ) . considering my own scenario, your AFC count is superb. i was put on short protocol too with menopur. i think you just need a specific protocol tailored to your own body .

sorry i dont know about any clininc that specialises in low AMH, but there are some good ones in manchester i know of.

all the best . xfingers
