Hi and welcome

I am so very sorry for your losses.

I'm not sure what tests, if any you've had for your losses but I've added links below for the miscarriage and immunology section below. Unfortunately there are a number of women here on FZ that are in a similar position to you, I am sure they will be along to over you support very soon.

I hope you like it on here, we have very friendly and supportive members that are sure to make your TTC journey that little bit easier, I hope you feel right at home with us all soon.

Here are some links that you may find useful.

There is an abbreviations section HERE so you know what we're all going on about.

There is a Miscarriage section HERE where you can talk to others who have suffered loss.

There is a Immunology section HERE where there is loads of information.

There is a Immunology chatter thread HERE where you can get to know some of the others with immunology issues.

There is a rough guide to Immunology thread HERE where you can learn more about immunology.

There is a general fertility section HERE there is tonnes of information there that you may find helpful and will answer some of your questions.

There is a general fertility FAQ section HERE which contains lots of guides to different aspects of fertility.

There is a guide to the initial fertility tests HERE which explains the tests you can expect to be offered.

There is a TTC naturally section HEREwhere you can get to know others TTC naturally.

There is a how to search thread HERE so you can get the maximum benefit from the forum..

And finally!! Have you seen that lots of our members have fancy names in their signatures? If you’re interested in having something similar it’s really easy to do. Have a look HERE to choose a style. If there isn't one you like there, let us know the kind of thing you'd like and we'll try and create one for you.

Because the running of the site completely depends on the kindness of our members, we ask for a small donation in return for a sparkly name, which is explained HERE. Hang around a bit and get to know us before you decide if you'd like to support us!

If you have any questions about anything, just ask.

Best of luck hun and I really hope your dreams come true soon.

My experience of IUI

First timer IUI - my thoughts and experiences

Not sure whether you are being referred for IUI or IVF. When I got referred the first thing they discussed with me was what we were entitled to. Might be worth trying to work out if you are in the right place. I say this as I am attending a Sheffield Clinic and if you are in the sheffield catchment area you get 6 x IUI and 1 x IVF on NHS, but if you are in Barnsley you get 6 x IUI and 2! x IVF. Looking at posts on here and other places, the more attempts you get the better. I have attached my thread on what happened through my first IUI attempt. Maybe you might find this helpful.

Fingers crossed Jx

hiya hun, im not sure what we r being sent for wether its just test but on the letter it says we both need to go to be investigated so the relevent treatment can be provided. so im guessing they might just put me on the injections to boost my overy realease as when i had my ecptopic i was left with only my left tube. ive read ur thread....u sound like u have been thru the mill. i hope it works for u keep me updated....im sure it will happen sooner or later. as if u get 2 attemps in barnsley but only 1 in sheff! pee take much lol.

take care xxxx
