re: Injectibles
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had success with Injectibles. Have PCOS, not having periods on my own and am on my fourth round of Clomid and have 8 days until my Specialist is going to consider me for Injectibles. Apparently they will need to check that my tubes are not blocked first etc.
Thanks
Hi there!
My dd Fiona also has pco, and didn't respond to clomid. She got pg on the first cycle of gonal-f (injectibles) and now has a beautiful daughter!!
Good luck with your tx

Hope you get your

soon!!
I've just read your earlier posts about clomid, and not being scanned or having progesterone levels checked. That is awful!!! When Fi was on clomid she was scanned on day 10, 12 and 14 to see if any follies were growing, and blood taken on day 21 to see if she had ovulated. She always needed provera as well to get a period. You could easily have been overstimulated and that can be really serious. With injectibles you must have scans to check for any growing follies, and if you have a dominant one that's big enough, you have another injection to trigger ovulation. Are you seeing a proper fertility specialist or just a gynae.?
