First appointment at QMC fertility unit

Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on what will happen during our first appointment at QMC fertility unit? We already know I have PCOS but DH has had two SAs come back with zero sperm so I'm hoping they aren't going to make me wait 3-4 months to have my tubes checked as it seem a bit pointless. The letter sayes we could be there up to 3 hours, is that really likey?

Thanks
Sxx

Im at care fertility in Nottingham but had my initial appointments in Leicester and although my results were okay and dp had male infertility, similar to your dh, i still had to go through the lap & Die process but it didnt take long.

Thanks for replying KTF, sorry I never noticed until now.

Well in case anyone else looks here this is the overview of what happens at QMC fertility unit:

You both get a form to fill in about if your happy to participate in trials etc.
You get weighed by the nurse who then asks how tall you are to work out your BMI (so not that accurate then, wish I'd said I was taller!!)
You then see one of the consultant and go though all your history.
Discuss your options and agree on what should be done next.
You see a nurse to sort out any test forms, booking of your next appointment etc.
All very organised, I'm not sure how long it took, maybe 1.5hrs.
