Happy New Year Girls!

Sorry to read that so many of you have had BFNs and I think I may be joining you. Been getting AF like cramps and after the past week, Im not surprised that the embie hasn't sticked. In a way, I've already mentally prepared myself for another BFN.

AF should be here around Monday/Tuesday so we'll see how those days goes and to be honest, Im hoping she arrives before Wednesday so I don't get her start bleeding on the way up to Scotland for my Nana's funeral....

Ah, Sasha - don't give up yet. AF pains mean nothing as long as the witch does not arrive. A number of girls get AF pains and still go on to get their BFP's.

Yea I know but to be honest I don't have much PMA at the minute.

Dan's been trying to get me to cheer up by saying that Nana could be watching over the embie and that it could be fate, but I feel like it's swapping one life for another going by the timelines of the IUI and Nana's illness leading to her death. God I sound depressing!!

Im sorry, I really am trying to be positive but it's just not in me yet...

We have been looking at Traffic Scotland and Traffic England and watching TS live eye cameras and it does look like its easing up, but we are still currently playing it by ear. We won't know officially until Tuesday night whether we are going up to my Nana's funeral or not and on what route depending on whether the snow layered down, but not icy, the gritter will be out etc so hard to tell at this point.

It may sound selfish of me, but I really do want to go up and say my goodbyes, weather permitting of course, and risk having a BFP/MC along the way. I've had 7 MC's in the past so my thinking is, if it's going to happen and I didn't go to say goodbye to my Nana, I just know I will be kicking myself forever.

However, on a positive note, I have been given instructions by my Miscarriage Specialist Consultant on what I need to do when I get my BFP, so that's taking baby aspirin, regular fortnightly scans and making sure that everything is where it should be. I never had that before as I always miscarry before getting to my scan date. And I never took baby aspirin before either.

On a PMA side of things, the last two days have been weird, been waking up feeling nauseous and sick, still cramping for Scotland on and off since 4 days post IUI and this morning there was some old brown spotting on the tissue when I wiped and nothing since. But I have put on a pad, 'just in case'.

Anyways, enough about me, how are you all doing?

Hi ladies,

After a failed ICSI cycle in Nov/Dec, I am back waiting for my NHS IUI appt. I will get started once I have a natural af so hoping that will be next weekend. Though I had ewcm and cramps Mon/Tues last week and thought that was ov, about right time for me. But having it again now. Hmmm... hoing the ICSI isn't messing with my cycle. Just want to get on with it now. If it doesn't work think we will be going pivate again for another ICSI cycle since we won't get our NHS appt til June.

Anyway... I had a question for you. I'm all confused, I thought I knew everything about IUI, but then we went for the ICSI and now I'm all confused cause it's different. I have to call the clinic on cd1 to collect my drugs and get shown how to do it (which I know from the ICSI cause it's menopur again) anyway... I'm getting the snuff, and I thought like the prostap you got this about cd21 and down reg for a week or two before af comes. Is that right or do you down reg on the snuff for a whole cycle? Also they said that you take it 4 times a day... anyone have any advice for what time they take it? presume you take it to work with you?

Anyway.... any tips for successful IUI are welcome, though given the ICSI didn't work I'm not holding out much hope.

Sasha - good luck!Hope it works out for you and you get to your nana's funeral too!

Waves and happy new year to everyone else!

Love, luck and babydust

Hi Sasha and Dan

I always believe that you regret the things you don't do rather than the things you do! I think it is important in this rollercoaster journey that we all find ourselves in, that keeping ourselves busy and trying not to overthink our every twinge is our only salvation. I hope the weather helps you get to Scotland to say your farewells. As I live in Glasgow I can confirm that the main roads are passable, just be careful of ice, and take your time.

Julz,

I have just been visited by AF. My test date is tommorrow for my 1st IUI. I tested myself yesterday so I already knew it was a negative. But as I am at GRI I probably can answer most of your treatment questions. As for the snuff, you stay taking that at all times, I am still on it. I think if you are BFP and confirmed then you stop taking it, otherwise you just stay on it ready for next tx. You take it at 7am, 12 noon, 6pm and 11pm. They give you these times. I bought a watch with five daily alarms and it has been a invaluable in reminding me to take the drugs. I used the 5th alarm when I had to take the daily injections aswell as the snuff. Also, the snuff has to be kept refidgerated, so I have been using a thermos flask when out at work etc. I have suffered from headaches from it but you can take paracetemol to help ease the pain.

AFM - I go back tommorrow for blood test but not sure if I go straight into cycle 2 or have to wait. I seemed to respond to the drugs despite having a low AMH. Well am sure I will annoy them all with questions tommorrow. Am off sick just now as have flu from hell, hopefully I am over the worst of it now.

Good luck to every one else

RoseyToes,

I agree with what you are saying about keeping busy in the 2WW but its been impossible as I'm still not working, despite efforts to look for work so every waking moment is ending up spending on trying to keep myself distracted with baking, cooking really good home cooked meals, cleaning (though I have done a lazy job of it as didn't want to risk it), feeding, watering and haying my 44 guinea pigs out the back garden, fussing the 4 cats and taking jewel the dog for her walks. There is nothing to keep me busy busy busy if you know what I mean, especially when trying to keep a lid on my emotions that's threating to spill every time I think of my Nana that passed away last week. So it's been a bit of an uphill struggle to try to forget every twinge and cramps etc.

Julz, we get EWCM sometimes when AF is approaching as your pH levels in the uterine lining changes. Sometimes it could also mean that you had delayed ovulation but we just simply don't know and it's much of a wait and see game. Hopefully you will find that your ovulation was late due to the stress of Christmas and New Year's and also if you have been feeling poorly, that also can delay Ovulation. Even some cold medications can give you false EWCM so we just have to BD in those events 'just in case'.

I cannot advise on the ICSI versus IUI as I only ever done one IUI and that was in my current cycle. Hopefully what RoseyToes says helps.

Rene, how are you?

GDay are you still testing or?....

Thank you Coops, guess we'll find out tomorrow what's what

Hi ladies,

Thanks for all the advice. Pretty clued up on EWCM... after 2 1/2 yrs of monitoring it iykwim . Hard to say if it was late ov or pr af cause both this week and last were totally identical. Hoping that it wasn't late ov cause I want af to show soon so I can move on to the tx.

Rosey toes - so sorry I was looking out to see your outcome, so sorry. Thanks for the info re snuff, that's a pain, 7 is way before I get up and 11 is way after I go to bed... grrr... oh well, needs must! I have an alarm on my Iphone which is great so think I'll use that. More likely to forget the snuff then the menopur. Will need to get some sort of thermos for the drugs at work since the only fridge we have is shared by the whole dept! Hopefully I won't be too far behind you and we will be having tx about the same time. They told me that you just carry on with the snuff so you don't need to wait a cycle inbetween, you just go straight on to the next one if you want to. Some people prefer to have a break. Fingers crossed for you it works this time! What time did you end up taking off around the transfer? Much or did you go back to work?

Hope everyone else is well!

Roseytoes - sorry another question, I know you told me all about the timings for the snuff etc, but can I just check when do you start it. Cd1 and then have to wait for another af and start, or start it about cd21 wait for af and then start? Err... should just be patient and wait for af and then ask the nurse when I am there, but I'm pretty impatient

Hope everyone is well!

We got a BFN yesterday though we suspect that we did have a very brief pregnancy at implantation which failed.

AF started yesterday morning so back onto IUI no.2 again this month so here's hoping for a better result.

Julz, hope you got the information you were looking for :hugs:

Sasha: so sorry for the negative result. Here's hoping for a better result in this next cycle

Julz - I tried every variation from having insemination done in my lunch break and straight back to work to taking a week off (although that was only becuase I had already booked the leave and insem happened to take place while I was off and that happened on 2 cycles)
The cycle that resulted in my son, although I was off work I was hauling concrete blocks the day before insem (helping out on a community project) and 2 days after insem I was hauling, unpacking, sorting and repacking about 30 boxes for my aunt who was emmigrating to Australia so I did not rest - in fact work would have been less physically active.

Hello Ladies,

Just stopped in to say hello and hope all is doing good. Sorry to hear about all the BFN hopefully soon someone will get a BFP. I’m on my 2ww still been having certain types of symptoms but not reading much into it. My DH went to his doctor Friday and the doctor was very pleased with his results from the Clomid so he is keeping my DH on his 25mg of Clomid and said he thinks we get a little miracle soon by the way things are looking. That made my DH very happy to hear.

Well got to go. It is very cold here an snowing and I;m going back to bed not feeling the greatest at all been sick off on for days, started cramping of an on a few days ago so I’m just going to go back to bed to stay warm while DH does things around home.

Sasha,

Sorry to here of your BFN result. No matter how much you know that the stats aren't on your side, you can still convince yourself that you are pregnant, I definately did, maybe I was a little over zealous with my PMA!! I hope you both are not too disheartened and preparing for the next cycle. I am booked in and go for my baseline scan at end of month. I have been having really bad headaches that come and go. I got these before when just on the snuff but somehow they seem worse this time. Still have stocked up on Paracetemol and starting my healthy living tommorrow.

Julz,

Sorry for the delay but hope this helps. This is the dates I was given to go by on first attempt.

You call unit at start of AF. They will arrange for you to collect your snuff and a date for your baseline scan. Then you start taking the snuff on day 21 (they will give you exact date) at the times previously mentioned. My baseline scan date was 2 weeks after starting taking the snuff on a Tuesday. You will probably be visited by AF between starting taking the snuff and scan. Then my lining was thin, which is what they are looking for, so I started my daily injections the following Monday (You choose the time to take injections) as I had to mix drugs and all seemed a little complicated I opted for evening, not the most accurate person til well after lunch!! You then go back that Friday just for blood test, if hormone level high they might get you in for scan on Sat, otherwise scan and bloods following Monday. I went back again Wed and Thurs, took different injection Thursday evening and had insem on Saturday, but it really depends how you react at this point. After insem I was still taking snuff and after a couple of days I had to take vaginal pesseries twice a day for 12 days. Purely by chance I then had two week off, we have to book annual leave on previous year, so tried to rest up. However, this time I would just take day off for insem and probably do light duties for couple of weeks, as my job is pretty heavy work. Hope this helps.

Slyfoxy

Good luck to you. When do you test? I have everything crossed

Good luck to everyone else on tx

Good morning,

So sorry Sasha about your BFN, heres hoping for a BFP next cycle.

I've been and had my scan yesterday for our next cycle, so relieved that my cyst has gone and we can get on with trying again. Our first abandoned cycle was in september and it's taken my body this long to recover!! Anyway, I start injecting tonight- only FSH and not the suprecur this time so I'm hoping I won't over stimumlat this time. I'm also on a much reduced dose, so fingers crossed!!!

I'm feeling much more positive this time round- and was so convinced that we weren't going to be able to start that I'm feeling extra positive. Lets hope the good news keeps coming!!!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Hiya,

Sorry haven't posted for ages, been on a bit of a downer but Im ok now.

Got my scan this Friday so here's hoping my follies are growing.

I've noticed that my scan date is on CD15 rather than 14 so Im hoping the hospital isn't going to make it too late for IUI? Shouldn't clomid not make you try to ovulate sooner than later? Maybe the one day difference doesn't matter...

How is everyone else doing?

Hello,

glad you're feeling better. I'm afraid I don't really know about dates an dovulatoin timing- perhaps you should check with your clinic?

I hope they are growing nicely!! I'm ok, started injections on Saturday night and not due in for a scan until friday- so just trying not to think too much about it really, it's hard not to get obessed with the whole process!! Going to try and keep myself busy this week and hope that the time passes. It's such as funny thing, I feel that I'm always waiting and hoping that time will move quickly for the next thing!!!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry not posted on here for a while - have looked in from time to time though. Sorry Sasha about your BFN and Katiebee - how are your injections going?

We had a break after our failed IUI in Nov and am now feeling positive again. We have just started our second IUI cycle - been in for a baseline scan today. All was ok and had my first stimm injection today. Booked in for another scan on Friday (Day 7) and the IUI should be mid/end of next week!! Last cycle I had a follie at 17mm on Day 10, so they are scanning me earlier this time (just in case).

Look forward to sharing this cycle with you - looks like there are 3 of us on the go at the moment (unless I've missed anyone).

Hopefully this will be our month xfingers

Hi ladies,

Sorry not been on recently, been away in another world. Still no af, on cd40.grrr. had a little bit of spotting today so hoping she is on her way. At the clinic tomorrow to have bloods to see what is happening and see what we do next, if af is on her way and I wait, if they give me snuff straight away or go straight on to stims... dunno. we shall see. Just want to get on with it now. I just really hope that there is a shot for us with the IUI and that we're not waisting our time. It's so hard to know what to do.

Hope everyone is well and treatments are going well. Thanks for all the advice. I'm fine with everything from stims onwards, cause did the ICSI in Dec, so that part is pretty much the same minus the EC, it was just the snuff that was confusing me. So thanks! Will see what I can work out. Don't think I'll be able to take much time off work though but hopefully should be ok.

love luck and baby dust to all

Hello Ladies,

I am new to IUI chatter but not new to fertilityzone inn general.....mine is a long and complicated story so have been to many different areas of the site!!

The short version is that my husband and I both have the same rare genetic condition and last year lost our baby son at 18 weeks because he had inherited both copies of the faulty gene leaving him with a form of the condition that is much more serious than our own, fatal in fact.

We have considered karyomapping and PGD however my AMH test came back low so my fertility is thought to be slowing down at quite a rate. As a result we decided to have IUI with donor sperm because this is now the best option for us and although the baby can still inherit my condition it brings the odds right down to a 50/50 chance which is a lot better than we have naturally.

Because I also have a heart condition IUI is having to be done on a natural cycle to reduce the risk of multiple pregnancy so that brings down the sucess rate!!

We are having the treatment at the Bridge fertility clinic in London and after having day 2 and day 10 scans everything looked great and there was no need for a trigger shot either because I was very close to natural ovulation......anyways I had the IUI yesterday thus starting our 2WW.....eeeeeek!!

I would love to hear your experiences....if anything it will keep me busy whilst waiting!!

I hope everyones treatment is going very well.

Baby dust to all!!

xx

Hello girls,

Hope you're all having a good week.
I hope the 2WW flies for you Rosie.
How did clinc go Julz?

Nikki I hope your scan went well- we are on the exact same day!! I had my scan this morning and had one follie at 17, one at 11 and one at 12- so they think that my IUI will either be tommorrow or Monday!! I'm not down regging this time and so have to be careful that I don't ovulate naturally and miss it!! I'm so relieved cos at this point on our last go I had about 30 follies and it had to be cancelled- much better without the suprecur injections!!

Rosie, you asked about my injections- I am having puregon (FSH) injections ecah day, a low dose this time as I responded too well last time and this seems to be good so far. I will also have the HCG trigger shot before IUI even if it looks like I'm ovulating naturally. ON my lasy cycle I was also having Suprecur injections which (I think) was the down regulating one- it shuts off the pitutiry gland so clinic can control ovulation etc. It causes your overaies to flare initially- which is what caused me to make so many follies and also probably why I had a cyst afterwards.

Anyway, I'm pleased that it's looking good so far, but a bit nervous that I may ovulate - feeling my normal symptons and mucus (sorry tmi!), I'll find out my blood results this afternoon and when I'll need to go in.

Hiya girlies,

I had my scan this morning and got 3 big whoopers! I've been asked if Im ok with the risk of mulitples and I am, so was triggered HCG this morning (twice in fact as the first one hurts and I pulled away instinctively so they had to do the 2nd injection - oops :O )

IUI is scheduled for tomorrow morning as one of the follies was about to burst - 26mm, 22mm and 20mm... also had 2 small ones as well at 10mm and 9.5mm The scan was wicked.. I could see the follies... 2 of them were nice and smooth and the biggest one was looking lumpy so popping time anytime soon lol

Hope everyone is ok and well.

Hi Girls,

Scan went well this morning - I am only on Day 7 so wasn't expecting much. Last time my first scan was on Day 10 and had one follie at 17mm (had IUI 3 days later) - so this time they wanted to make sure they didn't miss ovulation. We had a few follies with the main ones being 9, 10, 11 and 12mm. Have only had 2 stimm injections so far, so no more for now - will see how I do naturally over the weekend. We have another scan first thing Monday morning and have been told my IUI wil not be before Wednesday next week.

KatieBee and WaterBabies - good luck for your IUI's coming up. Look forward to hearing how it goes.
Rosie - hope the 2ww isn't too bad.
Julz - hope your appointment went well.

Will let you know how my scan goes Monday morning.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi Nikki your follies sound like they are growing nicely!!
Sasha- good luck for today, three perfect follies, how exciting.

I've been for another scan and bloods today- 18, 13, 12. My eostrogen wasn't quite high enough yesterday so they will see how it's all looking today. They told me that there's a 50/50 chance of IUI being this afternoon or Monday depending on my gormones and they will call me before 2 today to let me know. Either way it's pretty soon and will be my first go so I'm pretty excited. Looks like I'll only only have one egg (apparently they don't pop smaller than 14) but it only takes one!!!!

Trying to study now (I'm doing a phd part time) but my mind is a little distracted and Sampson (our dog) has just been sick- he tried to eat my daffodils while we were at the hospital- nice!!

Have a good weekend and I look forwards to hearing how you all get on.

Hiya everyone,

Lost my PMA this morning, we didn't do the IUI. Dan's swimmers were dead, every single one of them. So we got an urgent appointment to see the Consultant on Monday for Dan to do more testing and what next stage would be. So feeling a bit gutted on both sides, Dan's absolutely crushed about it
;(

So Im going to give him some attention this weekend. Hope you are keeping well.

Thank you for being so supportive but I will be back soon. Have a lovely weekend in the meantime

Hi, K - some women feel some discomfort when they ovulate (about 36 or so hours after the shot) and others have described a variety of sensations. Me, I felt nothing - no discomfort, no aches, twinges or anything else. I just had to trust that my ovaries were doing their thing and releasing that little eggie - apparently it did... :D

Good evening Girlies,

Sasha, I am so sorry to hear the news. You both must be gutted. Matt and I have had our fair share of ups, downs and set backs and am positive we will have many more before out treatment works. Really hope that you have both rested and pampered each other and that Mondays appointment brings some good news.

I am sorry girls I am letting you all down by admitting that with 9 days to go of the 2ww I am quite litterally going insane!! I am a nightmare to live with at the moment although my DH thinks its quite funny because I keep making him laugh with my nuttyness!

Now this week will be the killer.....I pass at least 4 chemists on my way 2 and from work so the first response tests will be calling my name!! I MUST BE STRONG!!!

So I hope everyones scans/IUIs/appointments go well this week. Let me know!!

Hello ladies,

Sorry, not getting on much at the moment, trying to just keep busy until we get started. So of course, went to the clinic, had bloods done and started bleeding that night, cd42! Always the bloody way! And when they called the next day, said I could start snuff then (guessing cause my hormone levels were low - cause af came) but told them af had arrived and now have to wait until cd21 to start snuff. Either way, have it sitting in the fridge waiting and will start it on 9th Feb and baseline scan booked for 23rd feb. So a bit worries about over stimulating. I responded really well with the ICSI - even though they only got 6 eggs in the end. Just don't want to abandon the cycle.

hoping the time until af comes flies by and I am back on injections. Can I ask how long most people waited til af came after starting the snuff? When I had the prostap injection it was about 8 days later, just wondered what ot was for others. Starting to get a bit worried about it not working now and what we will do next, but also trying not to get ahead of myself. Grrr...

I can't quite believe we have been ttc all this time and more than anything at the moment I'd really just like this to work out so we can move on. I'm also very aware that one of my best friends is starting to ttc her second, her first is nearly a year old and we have been ttc for 9 months when she fell with lo (first month) and at this rate she will have her second before we have our first. And on one of my other forums, people are coming back having they're 3rd, that were on having their 1st when we started ttc... their 3rd!!!! And we can't even manage one! Grr! Sorry... just getting to me a bit. Feel like I have done something bad to deserve this and not sure what else to do if this doesn't work.

Oh can I also ask, did you all still 'try' the month you were starting you snuff, not sure if the snuff could affect a pregnancy (just in case there is any chance of a miracle for us ;) ). We were told to still try before the prostap injection and that it wouldn't affect a pregnancy. So wasn't sure if it was the same for the snuff.. any ideas?

Anyway, also trying to shift some weight so did about 1 1/2hrs at the gym today and am very sore, so off to bed. Might have tomorrow off, and then body combat on Tuesday. Have put on so much weight since ttc and it's bugging me! just want to drop one dress size and I'll be happy.

Sasha - so sorry hon. Hope they can figure out what went wrong soon an you can get back onto it.

Love luck and babydust to all.

You can do it Rosie!!! I think any test beforeyour date will not b e a reliable one- you're over half way there too!!

I had my first IUI this morning, it was ok not exactly pain free but will be worth it!! I'm bleeding a bit now, has anyone else had this?

Julz I haven't had the snuff so can't really help you with that one hun. I know what you mean about the wieght- I've also gained since starting all this- don't know if it's the drugs or the previous over stimultaion and soreness but thenI also read that dieting and heavy exercise aren't too good when TTC. I go to yoga each wekk and that's been nice and relaxing.

Hi Kiranfaiz, I hope you're wait flies past and I hope you end up getting seen sooner- there seems to be so much waiting to do!!

Anyway, I have been watching soppy movies and sobbing away- think all these hormones are sending me loopy!!!

DH is on his way home, he was so excited after IUI I haven't seem him this positive in ages.

Hi Kiranfaiz,

I am about to start IUI at the GRI. When I was put on the list, Sept 07 I was told that it was 12 months. We were then seen in the March for our first consultation where they go through everything with you and take bloods for your AMH. Then told to wait until we got our pack through and first appt. Aug/Sept time. So Aug came, I called, it would be sept, sept came, I called, it would be Oct, Oct came, I called, it would be Nov/Dec. By this point it was driving me mad that it kept getting longer and longer. So we opted to go for a private cycle of ICSI. Unfortunately it wasn't successful. Ironically our IUI appt came up the week we got our BFN with the ICSI. So that was Dec. I would have started that cycle, but because of the failed ICSI I had to wait for a natural af, which just came and I now start my snuff in 2 weeks.

So it can take time. I would ask when you get your first appt what the worst case is to prepare yourself. Also if they say 14 months which means your appt would be say Jan 2011... add a month on to that as you won't start snuff until cd21 of that cycle, and if that month is too full they may delay you to the next month. I know it is hard with all the waiting, believe me I do. But you will get there in the end.

I am glad to be starting now, though am not feeling too positive giving the ICSI didn't work, I'm not sure the IUI will, but we won't be at the top of the IVF list until June.

Katiebee - Good luck hon! Fingers crossed for you!

Rosie - hope the time is going ok for you!

Nikki - how are you getting on?

Rene - hope lo isn't causing you too much trouble, do you think you will try for anymore?

Well hit a bit of a brick wall today when I was talking to my boss about appts and everything and suddenly having to juggle things again got a bit daunting. And suddenly hit that what if this doesn't work. Err... trying not to think about it.

Love luck and babydust!

Hahaha Katie I have been sobbing my heart out for the last hour whilst watching Patch Adams!! Oh dear!!

I did go into boots on my way to work.....purely to compare prices of tests you understand!! lol. Yeah at the half way mark now and I know I would only get a neg result by testing now so I will be brave and resist!.

The cramping has gone now but feeling a bit uncomfortable like really bloated feelings. I did not bleed when mine was done but it was a bit more painful than I expected.

DH and I miscarried at 18 weeks last year so we have been very emotional since the IUI last week. He is really missing our son today but he always puts a brave face on for me and stays positive so that I don't stress.

Is anyone else nearing the end of their 2WW??

How long after snuff does AF arrive?

Hi ladies,

Starting snuff on the 9th Feb and have baseline scan on the 23rd Feb. Just wondered if anyone could tell me how long after starting snuff will af arrive roughly. After I had the prostap injection it was about 7/8 days later. Will it be the same?

Thanks! xx

Katie - congrats on being PUPO

Rosie - when is your OTD? Unfortunately the 2WW is a well documented cause of insanity - it leads to compulsive boob poking, knicker watching, POAS obsession, and a number of other strange symptoms

StressQueen - you may be able to find more inof on Monklands here: Monklands Hospital

Julz - I have never needed to take the "snuff" so, unfortunately, cannot answer that question.
With regards to your other question: My little one drives me up the wall, makes me tear my hair out, makes me want to scream and makes me want to hug, kiss and cry with absolute joy. He is absolutely the love of my life and I wouldn't exchange him for the world. Would I try for more? Absolutely - just as soon as I win the lotto ;) Unfortunately for me there is no such thing as free treatment - I have to pay for everything from the investigations (bloods, scans) to the actual treatment itself and barring that big LOTTO (or a rich man) my son will remain an only child... ;(

Hi Rene,

Forgive my stupidity but what is OTD?

I have indeed been doing all of the things you have mentioned. I am having a few symptoms which feel very similar to how I felt before I found out I was pregnant last year, I hate tempting fate like this so I haven't mentioned this to DH or family. I would expect such symptoms if I had had the ovulation trigger shot but when they took my bloods they said not to do the shot because I was just about to hit ovulation on my own so I have had no meds what so ever.

I am trying not to run away with myself though so I have just been chilling out and having a laugh with DH and my friends....I haven't laughed so hard in ages actually : )

I typed out a long reply and then made a rookie mistake - I deleted it... DOH!!!

Rosie - OTD = Official test day.
And I have forgotten what the rest of the message was... Swiss cheese memory, that's me!
Good luck for the rest of the 2WW, Hun

Day 9 Scan

Morning all, I am currently on day 9 and hvae had a scan today ater taking clomid from day 2-6. I have got four follicles (2 each side) ranging between 12mm and 14mm. This is my first cycle and have been told all looks good. My IUI should be 2nd or 3rd February.

Can anyone comment from their experience if this is good?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Many Thanks :P
