New test is backed for endometriosis

Now researchers from Australia and Jordan have tested a new tool to replace laparoscopy...

Their findings showed a sample of the lining of the uterus (endometrium) can be removed during a biopsy via the vagina.

The sample can then be tested for the presence of nerve fibres that predict endometriosis, with almost 100% accuracy.

Yeah I agree once you have been diagnosed with endo you might need a lap. But for many women in the world who get diagnosed with endo only after waiting for 7-8 years. A simpler cost effective test would result in a early diagnosis being made. I hope.
