Hello Ladies,

Popping in to see how everyone is doing. For me well still on my 2ww  that the old ugly witch doesn't show. Also wanted to tell everyone today is our 17 year Anniversary.. Can't believe it's been that long WOW... I had thought about doing a hpt but not because if it is a bfn it would ruin our day so will wait.

Yesterday was a rough day for me had a fight with FIL due to him wanting me to load ridermower an I was scared to death might flip but done it anyways. Didn't feel to great yesterday had heartburn all night then got up with a sick feeling in belly. Had to go over to friends house to help with computer an still was sick in belly so bought a 7up an oh my gravy did it make me worse. When got to her house fixed me a nice cold coke an it made my belly feel better but when fixed cheeseburger for suppertime gosh did it taste horrible. Not sure if it were been eatting mostly watermelon, pineapple or what but darn did it taste horrible and my cooking is good. ?( Sitting here this morning with heartburn again, feeling bloated and top getting sore. This :2ww is about to get me now. DH hopeing we hit the target this time. :O So don't have to go for 2nd IUI but time will tell.

Littlefit how r you doing hun?
Loopy hope your doing good too.

Hello to everyone else sorry can't remember names forgive me.

Good Luck to everyone on the :2ww or doing other things.

CHAMPAGNE Hi honey, i'm sorry i don't know anything about ICSI!! But it sounds really expensive! Did they tell you exactly why you need to do this tx? I hope you find out some answers soon. XX

FADI I think the injection does give you pregnancy like symptoms and i think it can stay in your system for about 7-10 days or something like that!! But maybe someone else on here knows better ?? Good luck honey XX

SLYFOXY Great to hear from you honey! I hope all your symptoms are because a BFP is on the way YAY!!! XX

Hello dear ladies,

Hope everyone is having a good day. Me going to be getting ready to pay bills then start baking for the 4th of July. That will help keep mind off things.

Don't laugh at this question ok. Have any of you ever had a like a muscle spasm in your butt almost feels like a charlie horse?

Gosh I did an my DH had to rub my butt yesterday to help me get rid of it. It hurt like a witch I was ready to cry. I was screaming rub my butt.. Why did that happen to me? never had this happen before.

fadi dear I was suppose to test yesterday but chicken out due to many disappointments.

Littlefit take care hun and hope your feeling good today.

Good Luck to everyone ... :D

Slyfoxy - What the heck is a Charlie Horse? lol....

Quick questions ladies.
I'm on round 2 and have been taking injections of Menopur.
Wed- 2 amps 1 water
Frid- 1 amp- Question: is it still 1 whole water even though your using 1 amp less??

Also, am having DH Issues.
After the 1st cycle didnt work DH is now convinced that all 3 try's are not going to work for us. He dreads being an old Dad (He's 39) as his parents where in there early 40's when they had him.
He wants answers as to why it isnt working for us and wants to fix them, but when your unexplained Infertility then no one will have the answers he is looking for.
We have considered other options if this doesnt work for us i:e adoption. As the process is very long he wants to look into getting the ball rolling- Just in case!
IVF maybe an option for us but it would be self funded and we dont have that kind of money. We have family that would pay but its a lot of money with no gurantee.

Anyone else had a down in dumps Hubby, Is he having a mid life crisis?

Thanks as always xx

Sly, no, never experienced that...

Little: Hiya!!

Rugrats: Yes, you still use 1 water for the 1 amp of powder... When people start on one amp they dilute it with 1 water. The reason you do 2 amps (and even 3 ampst) in one water is that you then still only need to do one shot. If you mixed each amp with one water you would need to do one shot for each water and I think that would put many off...

Esha: goodness - you have just over 2 months till your due date. Was just yesterday that you were starting your cycle :8o:

RUGRATS I think it's normal for your DH to be feeling that way!! Because they go through exactly the same as us, even if it isn't their body :snigger:
Just give him lots of extra love and assure him that it will happen soon with the tx and that he won't be an old dad!! And if he is who cares!!!! As long as you are both happy and you both know that your children will be loved so much :D

I cant believe my will power!!!
i tested again..... X(

this 2ww is driving me MAD!!!
the test did show a very very faint positive and i dont why i bothered coz im guessing its still the hcg shot i had. Even though it was only 250mg.

My god wot is wrong with me im becoming a test freak!!
Im not telling DH bcoz he told me not 2 test anymore bcoz its making me crazy seeing those positive results and then if i get a BFN on friday ive been giving myself mental torture.
Why it has to be so stressful, friday seems such along way away.
I think every minute of the day im thinking abt it. I am trying to keep myself busy but its just not helping X(
I feel like a right nutter doing this 2 myself :bawl:

250mcg of ovitrelle sounds like a small amount but it is the equivalent of up to 10 000 IU of HCG (I used to use a dose of either 5000 or 6000 depending what was in stock) and it can take up to 14 days for 10000IU of HCG to clear so yes, at this point the second line is most likely still from the ovitrelle. Fadi, Hun - please try to stop the testing - 8 days post IUI is WAAAAYYYYY to early! The best time to test would be at least 14 days after IUI...
Hugs and strength, Hun. Here's hoping for some good news at the end of the week.

Rightio, good news for Rugrat camp. Ive got 3 good follies and insem day will be Wed 8th July. Woohoo. I cant wait. :o)

I'm a little apprehensive with it being our 2nd try. Really dont want the disappointment again. Also the quality of the sperm is a worry as DH hasnt released the big money balls as he calls it recently so we have to do some [zx084] tonight. I just hope he creates some more good quality fishes by Wednesday morning!!

Ive decided I hate Menpur, lol... it bloats me out and gives the me badest constipation cramps -EVER!!

Feeling good and positive ladies, I just hope it stays that way lol...
Sending your all some of my positivity Muahxxx

Hello ladies
I'm back 88)
Been on a mini-adventure and still knackered. Dropped DH off at Slieve Donard (highest mountain in NI) at 2.30am last Thurs. He was up and down three hours later. I drove (with stinking, v painful AF) us (and his bro) to Dublin in pouring rain, where we caught the ferry to Holyhead. BIL took over short drive to Snowdon, which they climbed and descended in four hours in muggy heat. Then had to drive to the Lake District through rush-hour traffic around Liverpool/Manchester. We were late so stayed over at my bro's then got up at 5am Friday, drove to Scafell Pike. Me and DH up and down in 3.5 hours, then drove to Fort William in Scotland with the rain following us. Then all three climbed Ben Nevis - 6 hours - in the rain. I fell over and had to limp down but only a muscle pull in foot... Sat we left at 8am, drove to Stranraer (five hours), ferry to Belfast and DH dropped me off at airport. I flew to Stanstead, then train, tube and train to Hampshire...finally arriving at my Mum's at 10.30pm. Had family party for my sis' 50th on Sun, then I went to London Mon to see friends, into office for lunch yest and then came home! Phew!!! Have got over aching legs but still tired... It's our wedding anniversary today - 4 years (we got married the day after the bombs in London).

Hope everyone is well. Good luck with testing Fadi and with IUI Rugrats.
Little - let us know how your appt goes - tomorrow?
Lxxxx

Fadi - something similar happened to me on my 2 wk wait. A girl I'd worked with told me she was 12wks and I was upset but sent congrats of course, plus she'd been through the mill (breast cancer, chemo, radio and tablets for three years). I was thinking that how come someone can go through all that and then conceive just like that, yet I'm apparently totally healthy but just can't, for no apparent reason... I'm sure you're happy for your colleague, but you're just ultra sensitive at this time. Keep your chin up and cry on our shoulders if you want... :O and cross fingers for this week...

Got great news today :D We get to start our 2nd IUI very soon. I start taking 100 mg Clomid tomorrow 5-9 and then go back next Thursday the 16th to see how things look if looks good will have my trigger shot. I'm praying we get to do the IUI the next day., The doctor put me on a chewable multivitamin that children take since having problems with prenatal vitamins he also put me on more Folic Acid .

I asked him why didn't it work the first time an he said this. He said everything was prefect on my end but my DH sperm count that is low just didn't get it this last time but the way he talked he thinks this time will go. He took me from 50mg Clomid to 100mg to see if I will produce more follices. He said it does take just one follice to get a BFP but he wants to see if can get my ovaires to produce more. I'm keeping my that it works. We've had a very long day but when went to see RE today I was very relaxed an Happy..

I'm so excited this time for some odd reason..

Good Luck to everyone and lots of baby dust.. :D

Hello ladies,

It's been a long time :thanx: since I've been in, and first I wanted to say thanks again for all the support and good vibes you sent me during our first cycle

Loopy : Your trip sounded amazing !! What a group of adventurers ! I hope you really enjoyed your anniversary. We're thinking of getting married really soon if our tx don't bring us any good news over the next few months, and I'm really starting to find the idea positive. I'm so sorry yout tx didn't work out last cycle. Are you planning another round of IUI ? (I know you and DH were discussing the possibility of IVF at one point . . . . )

Little : It's really exciting that you have your appointment today. Can't wait to hear about it ! Hopefully you'll be able to get started on tx really soon. Do you have any plans to go away over the summer ?

Esha : It's so great that your little one is full of life. Bet you can't wait to meet him/her !

Rugrats, fadi, slyfoxy : I'm really rooting for you all :goodluck:

As for us, we had a cycle "off" after the last IUI, and AF arrived again on Monday, ao I started puregon on Tuesday and am scheduled for first u/s and blood test on Monday next week. We shall see . . .

I would like to ask you ladies a question though : my "on a break" cycle was only 20 days long (I normally have 25-26 day cycles), and I started spotting on day 16 ?( Do you think the puregonor progesterone could have caused this ? I'm just a little worried that my current cycle (IUI 2) will also be out of kilter and that this could affect our chances of success. I suppose I can ask the hospital about it when I go in on Monday for my u/s.

Big hugs for everyone, it's great to be back !!

Hi girlies,

Well the appointment went well!!! :D the only thing is that the stupid Spanish :snigger: always have to take holidays, starting 15th July until the 1st September.
So we can't do our IUI until mid September!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But that is great news anyway so i'm happy

We have to do all our blood tests again as the other ones are out of date but that's easy enough, so all is good!! Except that i feel like a crazy woman!!!! :bawl: I'm going to look into finding a psychologist because i think i really need to get my head sorted out :snigger:

FADI Good luck honey and sending you lots of babydust!!! It's normal to feel the way you felt about your work mate! Chin up honey, this journey is a hard one!! XX

Thanks CINDY ESHA and LOOPY bigkiss

SLYFOXY :D Such great news honey!! I'm wishing for you both that this one will be the one. It's great you have lots of PMA that's what we need on here! Especially me!!!!!!!! XX

Hi TOSBOURNE Welcome back! Hope the dreaded AF arrives soon so you can get started on your next tx XX

CROISSANT Hi honey, How great that you have started your next tx 88) i'm not to sure about the answer for your question. Sorry babe!! But i'm sure that everything will be fine and i hope that someone on here has a answer for you. No we don't have any plans yet for this Summer, just saving money to go to Australia!! My friends really want me and DH to visit them in Scotland this September.. We would love to go so maybe we will, we will have to see though because that's when we are due to start our next IUI XX

hellloooo just popping in to say hi :) glad to see you are all getting on ok! :D

i had another scan today, only got 1 follie at 10mm+ so waiting on a phonecall to see whether i've to continue injecting or cancel this cycle! i injected 75 iu for 8 days and 150 for 3 days so far..The nurse said it was because they started me on 75iu and usually they start on 150iu which is what i'm on now, so i may respond better starting afresh on a higher dose. Does anyone know, if they cancel it, does that count as one of my nhs goes?

:xxx:

Sorry your follies are not being more obliging. Not sure if they count cancelled cycle as a go though. Hope not as cancelled means that you did not actually have the IUI... :hugs:
