Hampshire Clinic - first round of IUI

Hi all,
I am soon going to be experiencing my first round of IUI, i was wondering if you had any advice / experiences you could share with me?

The Hampshire clinic is in Basingstoke, this is where i am going to start treatment, i was just looking for any advice eg: health, diet, do and donts etc... This is my first fertility treatment and im not sure what to expect?

I had my second IUI last Friday and am trying to stay cool about the 2ww now...


Me 43, DH 38, TTC since July 05, unexplained infertility
3 x IUI Mar, June & Aug 09... :BFN:
IVF consultation Dec, discovered AMH 1.0 pmol/l, so unsure whether to cont pursuing IVF with own or donor egg... ?(

Hi honey,

Good luck with your upcoming treatment. :hugs: My advice would be to write down your questions for Ben or Gillian in advance of each appointment and stay there until you've had them all answered. I felt somewhat 'rushed' through at times and often found myself in the car going home wishing I'd asked something else. :smile:

If you're not sure what to expect it's probably worth giving Gillian a call and asking her to explain all of the steps to you in any case.
