sperm survival with IUI? 2 days or 9 days? confused

Just needed some clarification. Some of the posts here say that sperm can survival 7/9 days inside you but I have always thought in optimal cervical fluid they only survive 2/3 days?
Is it different with an IUI because the sperm is injected in your uterus and so can survive alot longer there?

Hi, Hun
Sorry to take so long to answer your question.
There is so much conflicting information about the survival time for sperm. Studies have shown that some viable sperm can still be found up to 9 days later but most say up to 2-3 days is the time when the highest concentration of viable sperm will still be present.
Good luck, Hun
