Suggest you try and post a notice at the JR

Ideally the 4th floor notice board - Given the PCT only allows one assisted cycle - I think you will find a consensus with your view.

Cheeky but worth a try

Hi Richard,

I am guessing then that they haven't changed the rules for April then.
Thats no IVF for me then!
I have signed the petition but I would like to help wherever possible.
This has a huge effect on my life.

Hey Tiger Lilly,

I have a few ideas up my sleave to show Oxfordshire PCT the we mean business.

I am thinking of getting loads of friends, collegues and supporter to bombard their Chief Executive with letters for the first 100 days of their new financial year to protest their policies. Are you up for it?

If so I will get writting a 10 or so template letters that we and our friends could use.

Also, make sure that you encourage everyone you know to sign the petition which I plan on giving to the Chief Executive later in the summer.

This is good.
Am I allowed to point out that immediately is spelt wrong (hope I've spelt it right now!) ?

Really good though.

They are planning on making an anouncement at the end of May about any changes in the rules so are you planning on getting it all to them by then?

Thanks for pointing it out - I will get it changed later today...

20+ signatures already - need 10 times that much before I send it to the local media to pick up. So get your friends and family to sign everyone.

It would be great if we can get this to 200 this week as the PCT are having a meeting sometime after the 17th of this month to discuss IVF funding. It would be great to show them how we feel about the matter!

Update on the Oxfordshire PCT funding Campaign…

Hi guys and gals,

The campaign has received much coverage and we are now up to 144 signatures on our petition at http://www.gopetition.co.uk/online/26607.html

I was interviewed so far for the Oxford Journal, BBC Oxford TV, BBC Radio Oxford and the Oxford Mail.

Here is what the BBC had to say - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/oxfordshire/7999794.stm

So, what can you do to help?

Well the petition gets handed to the Oxfordshire PCT tomorrow, so we need one last big effort to get as many signatures as possible!

Also, Please please please take the time to email Andrea Young at the PCT to tell her that her trusts policies are out of order. You can get a template email from - http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=72785000727

I will be handing the petition over to the PCT tomorrow at 2pm. If anyone would like to join me at this hand over please PM me and we will arrange a place to meet.

Thanks for all your support.

Just found out that we have had our own request for funding refused by the Oxfordshire PCT.

Now the ‘gloves are off’ and I WILL without a shadow of any doubt win this for everyone in this horrid situation.

Just did an interview with Heart FM http://www.heartoxfordshire.co.uk

Any ideas that could help the campaign, please email them to me at richard@oxfordtribe.com or call me on 07737321804.

Thanks again for your support.

Richard MacKenzie
