Well i'm trying to be as positive as i can. Yesterday i was having a few little pains, and started to worry but didn't last long, today (so far) no pains. Oh had heart burn last night whilst lying in bed, and this morning at 5am had to change my pj's once again, soaked from top to bottom. I'm off tomorrow and friday, so that does help loads with my stress levels.

Good Luck Mrs W! Hope it goes well!

Hedgebaby - most clinics do both medicated and unmedicated. My clinic said that their current stats are 10% success for unmedicated IUI and a 35% chance of success with medicated IUI. You will probably have medicated IUI if you have trouble ovulating naturally. If the issues are mostly with your other half and you ovulate just fine, they might give you an unmedicated cycle first. Depends on your circumstances. My first cycle was medicated as I don't normally ovulate naturally. However, when I went back to find out why AF hadn't arrived, my body had ovulated by itself and had a 20mm follicle sitting there! very strange!

Kayjay, Betty - we're all testing close together! How exciting! We'll get some results all together and god willing, some BFP's!
Me-35, DH-40
TTC since 04/09/04,
Me - PCOS/not ovulatg, DH - fine now as taking Vits etc

Hi girls.

Mrs W, GOOD LUCK! Stay positive and don’t listen to your DH! He is probably trying to protect you from getting hurt in case it doesn’t work, but you need all the PMA you can get. It’s impossible not to be disappointed if you get a BFN, so you may as well stay hopeful! It CAN work, it has done for lots of ladies on this forum and it can for you. Once the swimmers are in there, you’re in with a chance – so focus on that.

Kayjay, I’m glad to hear you’re sticking to your test date. No point testing early and getting a false result!

Oh my god Charlie how can you be so patient?!

Can’t wait to see some more BFPs….

Thanks Karried, Esha & Clairey Bell - I thought that's what it was - i just didn't realise they did IUI unmedicated.
We are having injections straight off even though I ovulate - think they just want to go for it. Reading the posts here gives me much more hope now and it's nice to hear the success stories.....

Thanks again - good luck to those waiting to test

Betty i didn't feel anything just now and again but otherwise nothing only in the vening or at night i got hot flushes and alot of wind and pressure in my stomach,

If you are pg the first 4weeks the eggs are dividing into cells so you wouldn't feel anything but i did have sore boobs and nausea was starting a day before my test.

You see my nurse did say to me that it sounded like goodnews and as i was testing on 18th day if it wasn't sucessfull then Af would have arrived on test day or before. I remember when i asked the nurse for another spray just incase she looked at me funny I think she had a feeling.

Esha - maybe call your agency and ask if there are many jobs going at the mo as the last thing you'd want is to quit and then get stuck.

Charlie - I do love working from home and wish I could do it as and when but only really get to if I've been at a meeting near home and then not worth going back to the office. Bad thing is that I keep running to my snack cupboard every 5 mins!

Betty - I know what you mean - I feel more or less the same. Only thing I have noticed is I feel a little 'heavier' just below my belly. Couldn't work out if it was just me overeating the last few days and thererefore my body digesting a little slower :snigger: or maybe it's the progesterone doing the trick and thickening my lining like it should?! Who knows?!

KAYJAY...you asked me about having acupuncture after the IUI........
My acupuncturist told me that he prefers not to give me any sessions after i ovulate or after i have done an IUI..Because he said he prefers my body to do the rest naturally and not to interfere by sticking needles in :snigger: But i have heard that other acupuncturist`s do it, so i think it depends on the professional...XX

Hiya, Ladies
Glad to see so many perky people here...
Kris, Hun - good luck for tomorrow's scan - will be looking out for your news

Esha - it's only 2 more weeks till your next scan - feels like forever, I know, but it will be here before you know it

Mrs W - all the best for your IUI and the 2WW to follow

BB - don't let those feelings get you down - a lot of people feel no different from normal and still go on to get their BFP's.

Hedgebaby - a lot of clinics will not offer unmedicated as they feel they have better control over the cycle if they give you meds. The last thing you would want is to ovulate on a Sunday when the clinic is closed and then have to wait a full cycle before you can try again. My clinic did offer unmedicated but always actively promoted medicated as the prefered option...

I think if you become a friend, you get a slightly bigger signature? But it looks good to me!

Morning

Well i haven´t tested yet. Last night bad night sweats again and this morning i had a bit of brown spotting. I haven´t got any af pains. In fact i haven´t had any af pains since last friday, so nearly a week.

Do you think a little brown spotting with no af pains is still a good sign???

I´m sooooo scared of the outcome.
