Can you help? More IVM info

Hi yesterday dp got me the mail on sunday cos of a CD I wanted. It had an article on IVM, but it was badly written and misleading. It was called my £95 twins or something like that.

The question that need answering really are:
1. What medications are used?
2. The actual cost
3. The protocol
4. Is it only done in Oxford?

Anyone actually done it? The articles said that over 65 ladies 10 gave birth. There were a further 10 pregnant ladies.

As I have had ohss with this tx and they said it is cheaper I wanted to look into it, but found very little info.

Thanks

My tx was doomed for the start cos I had too big follies after 4 days of stimulation and they kept the stimm drugs dose really low so in the end I only had 3 eggs, 2 of which fertilised. But then I got ohss cos I got pregnant. so that's why I'm interested.

I overstimulate no matter what they do :snigger: but do get plenty of eggs.

I think Ivm is for women under 35, so that rules me out :snigger:

Hi Maria

You could give Oxford a call and see if they have an info pack they could send out to you?
