Has anyone Used donor sperm

Hi i'm Fee,
Can anyone give me any advise/help please. We have our first icsi last month and had zero fertilisation. The embryologist has suggested we might like to try half dh and half ds to try to find out if it my eggs or dh are at fault.
Could anyone let me know the legalities/implications of using ds. I know dh would not be the biological father but i presume he would not have to adopt the child?
Also do you have to tell the child? And will this info be kept on their doctors records?

We used donor sperm due to DH having no swimmers :tears:

We waited 4 months with CARE Manchester for the sperm to arrive from the US. After our BFN we went to Manchester Fertility Services and they have a good stock of sperm as they didn't seem concerned re the blood group type as CARE did.

After 2 further BFN we opted for the private donor route due to lack of £ amongst other things. Not everyones cup of tea but it worked for us.

Good luck

Susie x
