Oh NO.....the 2WW!!!!!

Ok so today is THE BIG day! 12.30 basting for me!!
Then the 2WW from hell.....again
I am actually nervous this time. Still feel a bit bloated on the right hand side so I suspect a big POP! anytime now.
Well I better go and get on with the trimming and shaving and scrubbing of the Chuff Meister!!

Back later for the full gory update!!!

Good luck to everyone else too. Holly esp for Saturday!!!
Anyone else gonna be on the 2WW in the next few weeks?

Good luck Minnie - really hope this is your time. Last min tip: cement the insem with a quickie! This will REALLY help. Also don't lie on the sofa with your legs up incase it all puddles inside. Also rest for a day or so then carry on as normal. Stay off the caffeine too.

Keeping everything crossed for you my lovely.

Hey, Min
Glad all went well. Must admit that I was expecting you to go on cyclogest. One of the consequences of down-regging, I think. But you survived it before and you will survive it again!
You do have company coming for the 2WW, what with Holly going in tomorrow, and while I am not waiting for myself, I will be 2 week waiting with (for) you!!!
that this is your turn!

I will be going away for a week as from tomorrow. A cottage near The Malverns. Lots of R&R, dinners out and a bit of sightseeing. Nothing strenuous. So I want to wish everybody lots of luck in everything they are doing. I will hopefully be back and posting again Sat/Sun 8/9th. It will take me a week to catch up I expect. :D

So have a great week all!!!

Hi all,

That's me on the 2ww!
Had insem, pretty uneventful, apart from the nurse being unable to negotiate the bend in my cervix, lol - Doctor took over and got round it though.
Pessies, twice a day - don't start them until the 4th though, outcome on the 18th (ages, because of the Easter holidays - I'll be doing a hpt before then though)!

Minnie - Have a smashing holiday hun, speak to you soon.

Thanks to everyone who wished me well xxx

Anyway good luck ladies, let us know how it goes.

Jenny I think it depends on your lining and how much stuff they gave you to produce the eggies...

Minnie, they didn't offer it to me either but I got so sick of making "slugtrails" when I was walking around naked and leaving a big splatter of wax in the loo that I refused to use them!!! Asked Dr for anything else and that was either injections or gel...

Holly, only after you have been using stimulating stuff too produce eggs. This reduces the progesterone development...

Holly...well done mate and welcome to the 2WW from hell!!! :D
Glad all went ok today after your stressfull day yesterday. I will be back on 8th to join you in the last week. Keep well and relaxed hunny xxx

Jenny,
I think the pessies are given this time because I was on a supressed cycle similar to IVF. I think the d/r drug affects your lining and hormone levels so the pessies help to bump them up a bit! I hope so as my lining was not that great tbh.

Anyways I am madly packing and fretting about what I will do without you all for a whole week....... ;(

Have a great week everyone

Yes it is to assist with implantation.

I'm also still sniffing, 4 times a day. I was unsure about this but the clinic assured me it won't do any harm, as it only suppresses natural ovulation, and in the event of a BFN I can go straight onto another cycle.

So I'm doing pessies twice a day and still sniffing 4 times a day!!!

Min - enjoy the rest of your time away! Look forward to chatting with you again soon, though. Hope that other than eating, you are also spending a lot of time with your feet up...
