so sorry hun :(

Re: the colposcopy clinic.... try not to worry too much. I've also been in a few times due to abnormal smears. the abnormal cells can often go away by themselves, or you may need to have them removed.... that in itself is a pretty simple procedure. I had cells removed by cryo-biopsy something or other! So, any questions, I'd be happy to try to help

Oh Minnie, I hope you keep up your good spirit!
I am so sorry for your AF. When you want it it never comes and when you don't it is there knocking.

How about treating yourself to some of your favourite drink? (not saying this in any kind of alcoholic way but treats are good, even an absolutely amazing bottle of wine, champagne or whatever you like!)

Huge hugs,
Wella

Wella,
Might well do that if the caravan takes a while to sell, will let the weather warm up a tad first! brrrrrr

As far as deciding what to do next...well I need to get my visit to colposcopy over and done with first, and get copies of all our test results etc from the clinic. Then I think we might make a decision from there.

Melanie,
I will be taking some time to sort my head out too. I have been having acupuncture and intend to continue as its helping my headaches so much! Thanks for the mention about the smear aswell, it helps to know its not that uncommon...if that makes sense?
Been munchin chocs all week! I will be dieting like mad after all this! 8o

Rene,
Cheers hunny, dont let is take anything away from your great news tho. You so deserve it! Be happy and proud! I am proud of you xxx

I was at my clinic last weekend and they told me the supply of donor sperm us dire and I would have to wait about 1 year.
I am currently contacting other clinics and have contacted the Bridge centre in London who do have sperm available and could fax their catalogue to my clinic in Aberdeen.
Everything takes so long I am fed up waiting.

I know you want to get the colposcopy out the way first, but are you considering IVF as an option ?

Lisa,

We are actually considering a few things....maybe even going abroad for treatment! I have had some responses and info sent to me already. We could have a lovely holiday AND treatment for the price of 1 cycle here!

Moomin,
Good news is that I had a response from Wessex and they are sending all the test results to me. This makes things such alot easier in planning our next move!

Moomin,
I am not going back....hence my request for copies of all our tests.
Now I am doing my homework on other clinics etc!
Back to the drawing board...so to speak.

Tracy,
Yeah I am ok today thank you. I see you have had a few IUI's too. Is the IUISO different to stimulated IUI? Just wondered if there was something I hadnt tried yet......clutching at straws probably!

Minnie,
Glad ya feeling ok.
IUISO is same as stim IUI just what they call it at my clinic - sorry to disappoint you. We were thinking about considering other clinics as lost a bit of faith in ours over last year. Got 1 more IUISO and 1 IVF on NHS first though so wont be til after that as cant afford it at moment.
