Starting my first cycle

Hiya all

I've just been reading through this section, as am starting my first cycle of Clomid imminently, and just wanted to say hello to all really!! I loved the success stories, almost had me weeping at my PC - really nice to know of people who this has worked for. I'm feeling good about the next few months, I thought our consultant would have recommended IVF as we have male factor issues, so I'm quite happy to be trying this instead.

Has anyone used Clomid for male factor at all? Or know of anyone who has?

Positive thoughts and hugs for all xxx

Hi Sim and welcome

I wonder if you have been given clomid as a 'boost' if you only have a slight male factor issue? And also, if you are under the same PCT as me (I am also in Berkshire) they won't fund NHS IVF until you are 35 (its just come down a year) so that might be why they are trying something else in the interim? I hope the SA results come back ok and that your journey is short.

Best of luck. If you feel like joining in the clomid chicks chatter please feel free to jump right in here CLOMID CHICKS!
