IUI Success Stories ...

 peeps!

I thought it'd be a nice idea if we had a success stories thread, much the same as the 'Clomid Success Stories', I know reading that thread when taking Clomid always gave me a lil boost when I was feeling like I'd lost all hope.
Reading others success stories, whether it's through Clomid, IUI or IVF is always encouraging and really comforting to hear of, so what do you reckon ladies? How many out there has had a BFP (past and present) and wants to share their joy with us all?

Hello!

This is the thread I've been waiting for (I love to talk about DD!)

I had natural cycle DIUI three years ago. We were given an 8% chance, and unbelievably, it worked first time.

I now have a wonderful daughter, and the funny thing is, everyone says she looks just like her dad!

I would definately recommend IUI or DIUI.

Good luck and lots of babydust to all!

I had DIUI in 2006 and have a wonderful, gorgeous son to show for it. It took a bit longer for me to get my BFP but it DID work in the end. See my sig for the deets...

We had IUI twice last year : the first was abandoned as I had a high risk of multiple birth and the second was v.successful and we have a 12 week old daughter Rebecca. Great idea to have success stories as a boost.

IUI - 2WW

Hi All,

Im also on a 9 day wait until test day.

TTC 4 years now. had 2 laps and 2 drills, 8 months Clomid, and 2 abandoned IUI's. This is my first IUI cylce to to have gotten to this stage. I have PCOS and responded far too well. 27 follicles too well!

If this cycle fails, we are on the list to start IVF in a month or so.

Soooo excited havnt been near this stage before!

Anyone else in a similar boat.

My little man, Owen was conceived on our 3rd go of natural IUI...or was he? Not only did I insist that my DH at least be in the room holding my hand if we were possibly conceiving our child but I forced him to baby dance with me that night....so maybe that was the winning ticket.

Now we have a small one and trying again Just Dr B and I see the action - no threesomes this time around! LOL....aaah the romance.

Does anyone know if AMH of 19 is good for someone of 41??? anyone using the Cyclogest pessaries and are they making you feel like your about to get period, bloating, feel sick, crampy..........???

Please advise ladies.

Hi Rollandbaby

I am on the 2nd day of my 2ww of my 2nd IUI (the 1st one was BFN). I've just found this thread too and it's nice to hear that there is hope of this tx working.

I know that AMH can be measured in 2 different ways. I'm 29 and my AMH was 18.25 which is very slightly low for my age. However, this is another scale that is used so you'll need to check which one it is.

I'm using the pessaries but I didn't get any side affects last time other than sore boobs.

I'm not sure if you've seen the IUI chat thread but there's quite a few of us there at the moment who are at different stages of our IUI cycles. It always nice to have someone else join our little group :)

A friend of mine (who I met through FZ) had IVF for her first baby. Then, when the decision was made to try for a second child, they decided to go for IUI. She got a BFP on her second IUI and now has a 2 year old son as a result...

Welcome to Rollandbaby. Please come on up to the IUI chat area. The ladies are very friendly and supportive... :)
