Hi Soooz,

How did the EC go? Hope it went ok, which clinic are you visiting? I am currently starting ICSI at Leicester Royal Infirmary. I am currently waiting for my blood test results to come through from the doctors before we can move on the the EC etc etc.

I found the process to go really slow from the start but now I am finding it is moving a lot quicker even my blood tests are being pushed through due to the treatment!!!

If you could let me know how your getting on and what happend it would be good to hear

Good luck with everything hope you get the news your waiting for :D

Open evening

Hi,
I've just been given the go ahead for IVF (probably with ICSI) at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. Just doing the last blood tests and waiting for the open evening invite. It would be great to hear of your experiences.

Well they gave me funding and then took it away from me, so im re appealing to the pct and very disapointed, we had even done all our tests and ready to start ;(

Really hope it isnt long before something happens, if they wont do our treatment, we'll have to go abroad!

Initial consultation

Does anyone know what happens at the initial consultation? We've been referred for IVF treatment (probably with ICSI) now after many months of infertility tests and have our first appointment soon. I hope I'll finally find out when it really starts.

Hi all, we have now been given the go ahead and been transferred to the assissted conception part of leicsester Royal. We are awaiting a phonecall to invite us to attend the open evening - its seems an eternity but has only been 3 days.

We will be having IUI for two attenpts and the IVF if that doesn;t work.

would be good to chat to others in a similar situation or know what we are facing.

we have been trying for 3 1/2 years
