Hay Ladies How are we all today.

Pammy - How ya feeling? Got any morning sickness or anything yet?

Clarabelle - your even further away than I am!!!!! It must be a nightmare going down for your baseline and bloods etc.... do you have to go all the way down for your day 8 of stimms? They let me just have that one done in Inverness and then down to Aberdeen for the day 10 scan..

Hows everyone else doing?

Well thats me on day 3 (me and you started at exactly the same time clara) Only 10 more days till my bloods are done........ then on to the HRT. Not feeling to bad, finding it hard to sleep though, think its the fear of it not working again.

Has anyone ever had assisted hatching done in Aberdeen? I was reading it about it earlier and was wondering if its worth asking about?

A x x

Yes Esha I have to go all the way to Abdn for day 8 - don't think the lab in the hosp up here can do the test they need (something like that anyway!) and then again on day 10 although I think the nurse here said something about just staying down from day 8. There's islander accommodation at the maternity hospital but don't think we really want to stay with a whole bunch of pregnant folk/new parents, so might just get a hotel room.

Still no side effects of DR that I've noticed, although cos I started on day2 I have got AF anyway!

I can't believe we started on the same day Esha - maybe see you in Abdn for baseline scan!?! :snigger:

I haven't tried the cycle buddies yet as I wasn't sure how much details I needed to put in - don't have dates yet from clinic, only know when my DR day1 was. Hopefully they dates will be in the mail this week.

Still no side effects although AF a bit more erratic than normal - prob the injs. Another day over with at least!

Hey clarabelle

You dont need any details to go over, I never knew my dates til a few days before for EC(nightmare with work)

I remember my protocol seemed to take forever to come too, Not sure if it will be any different cu your starting on day 2, I guess it will all be the same.

Hope DR treating you ok.

Looloo sounds like a bit of a nightmare with bloods, When I was getting my progesterone checked my gp made me wait a week X(

Hay ladies how we all doing?

Pammy - hows you and the little one doing? Having any morning sickness yet?

Clara - How ya feeling? The hormones getting to ya today? I must say the sun is making me feel full of hope and happiness (bring on the PMA)

Questions - Has anyone ever had assisted hatching at Aberdeen? I am driving myself mental reading everything I can about treatment and its my new thing - and has anyone ever been given baby asparin from them?

Well that is me on day 8 of D/R now, ten days till blood test, (feels mighty strange counting down to a blood test and not a scan this time) lol

I got a 7 week scan, pushed for a 10 week scan, (aberdeen told me to) and I have had miscarrages in the past, and I will get a 12 week scan, every little helps!

The way I find is to click on persons name and then in the bottom corner there is a search where they put all their last posts, and in there you will find my diary..

Otherwise, you can go to the bottom of this before typing a response and there is Jump To:- there is a list of all the forums.. Including pregnancy diaries under the baby boards

Dont worry it took me a while!

Hello everybody

I started DR (day 3) and I am feeling ok ( well probably to early for SE to kick in), no problems with spray so far, easy to use, painless, even pleasant

Esha82, good question about aspirin, I found lots of studies saying it is beneficial for IVF's too. I ve asked the same question re aspirin at the info evening. The answer was -"we donot use it"
me -"why ?is it any evidence that it may be harmful?"
Doc-"No, if you use it you donot have to stop"
That was it, didnot clear things in my mind to be honest, but you may be more succsseful with getting more informative answers, so my advise -just ask them (and let us know afterwards :P)
Let's do it

Moogle - how are you finding the clomid

Masha and Esha - hope you guys are doing well

How are the other Aberdeen lassies as well?

Pammy and Dooey - hope you are both well, not long now til your 12 week scans, do you find out offical due date then or do you already know as IVF/ICSI?

woohoo woohoo EC on Thursday Jane? That's great news. Will be thinking about you and wishing you mega good luck!

Clarabelle, I had acupuncture at Bodytune in Aberdeen. It was very relaxing, but she wasn't a fertility specialist and I'm not having IVF - was just hoping it would regulate my cycles. It's probably worth asking the clinic if they recommend anyone.

I'm on 2WW of 3rd clomid cycle now. My blood results have all been pretty good, so low progesterone dosn't seem to be the problem, but still no BFP :bawl: Back to the clinic in 3 weeks to discuss tx and decide what to do next.

Hope everyone else is good

Ace Jane

4 cells can take as can 8 cells its a bit of a guessing game!.. I am sure Pammy got 4 cells put in and 1 took straight away and I got one 8 cell first time and it didnt work... Bit of a blooming lottery!

Good Luck xxxx
