woohoo Staceybelle that's great news! Frosties too

PUPO - pregnant until proven otherwise : D

All these tears & im still not sure what my actual numbers are & what they really mean ?o(

Consultant phoned us back. All results ok apart from morphology which was just 1%...the cut off is 4%. They want another test incase it's a one off, if not then it will be ICSI, which is more money but will be worth it if it helps fertilisation. We can go on next months AF as results only take 2wk but not sure when we can get an appt. I feel more relaxed now smile2

Glad they got back in touch Bumblee. Hope it's nothing too serious. We're not sure yet what my OH's levels were as we just got a letter back. Hopefully Aberdeen can explain the issue with his morphology on Tuesday. Hope your OH's next test comes back ok.

We're going to the open evening tomorrow at 5.30! then clinic appts in Tuesday!at 9.45. Is it car park 2 we are best to park in? I've also heard it gets really busy so how much time should we give to get parked and walk round to maternity hospital.

Thanks xx

that came round fast! All car parks are busy....where's car park 2?? I just go straight to Maternity. we turn right & just keep going round to find anywhere to park. I would aim to be there for 0900 just in case but that early you may be lucky xfingers

Was your OH's morphology low also? Xx

According to the map we got sent car park 1 is the big staff car park and 2 is next to it for visitors and outpatients and we have to show our letter to price we have an appt. it looked like there was parking near the unit but we weren't too sure so thought we would just go for car park 2. I'm happynto go early so we don't miss our appt. thanks for the info.

Yes it said his count and concentration were excellent but morphology was slightly lower than normal but they didn't think this should cause a problem. This came from Inverness Cons so will see what Aberdeen lot say on Tuesday. They haven't asked for it to be repeated so far but they might suggest this when we speak to them. Xx

Hi bumblebee, I do my own injections so it's fine. We have routine I do the injection and Dh makes a cup tea and that's our routine I do the injections about ten at night so don't have to worry if out for tea or that. We just avoid late nights. :) xxx

Hello glad your scan went well and hope you feel a bit better soon. Can I ask at what point do they do the scratch in the cycle? I'm going to ask about it at my appt tomorrow.

Well survived the group session tonight. We found it really informative and managed to have a quick chat with Lynne the Embryologist about a few things then with the lady Consultant too. Asked about when they would do my dummy egg transfer and would we have to come back for it, so she went upstairs to check and booked me in for tomorrow after my appts so that's one less journey back again. :) I'm feeling a bit more relaxed about it all now after frantically scribbling down lots of stuff they said to tonight. Still dreading the injections but will hopefully get used to them in time.

One thing they did say was evening was a good time to take the injections as if you are scanned earlier in the day and they need to adjust the levels of medication up or down then you won't have taken the dose that day yet. Think I would be more relaxed in the evening than rushing in the morning before work. She reminded us that the clocks change end of Oct so take that into account when choosing your time. I never thought of that

Hope everyone else is ok??

Glad the evening info night was informative, I thought it was really beneficial tk my husband. Great news they are going to do dummy run tomorrow when you are in. I had the scratch day 14 after my period before starting medication. You will be ok after injections after the first couple I just kept thinking what it was for. Are you staying in aberdeen tonight to safe all your traveling xxx

Morning All

Thanks for the info about the scratch Hello. I'll ask if they will do it as it seems to have good results. We are staying in the Premier Inn on Andersin Drive so that's handy for the hospital. My poor brain went into information overload last night as didn't get much sleep. All the info for was just buzzing around. I'll be glad to get home later. I think once today is out of the way I'll have a better idea what going on when so it means I can arrange things with work. I was hoping Eaigmorecwould have done some of the scans and checks but no I've got to come here. Not sure if my OH will be get off work to come to them all but if it is just a straight forward scan I'll drive through n my own or mum will come with me.

Bumblee that would be great if we were cycle buddies . Hope your hubby gets his test redone soon xxx

Evening ladies

That's great hews Bumblebee you have got such a quick appt . I'm really pleased for you. Aberdeen hotel prices are crazy but we managed to get the premier inn for £68 so grabbed it as we weren't really sure where we were gong in the hospital campus this time. We've got friends who live in Aberdeen who would let us stay but just wanted to get this appt out the way first before we told them. The Mercure Ardoe is lovely!

Well day didn't quite go to plan. Cons took history then wanted to do u/s before dummy embryo transfer. Follicle count was slightly less than at last scan a month ago at Raigmore but it also showed that endometrial lining was inky 4.3 at day 20 instead of around 10 mm. As FSH & follicle count was normal its not an oestrogen problem. She is worried I might have scarring or adhesions after damage which was caused during mc surgery in Feb in Raigmore or have developed Asherman's Syndrome. I'm booked now for a day case hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic on 21 Oct and if they find a problem they can deal with it then. IVF now rescheduled to stat in Nov instead. Thankfully they will still do it! Xx

It's a condition that can occur after recurrent mc's or surgery for recurrent mc's as well as a few other causes. It can cause scarring in the uterus or adhesions sometimes too. It can cause issues with periods or pain with very little bleeding. Weird this is I doubt have these things but the gold standard test as they cause it is the hysteroscopy to see what's going on.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post the link but have a look at this . Symptoms and Causes
Or google it, it's quite interesting. I found it by accident in March and asked about it and got fobbed off. Now Aberdeen want to check for it. Trying to stay positive though xxx

Oh poor you, that's not so good. Have they done any investigations if you suffered in the past? My cycle has gone shirt and light since all my mc's but haven't stopped so not really sure if that is seen as a symptom or not. I suppose if I have a really thin lining in my uterus then that's maybe why my periods are so ligh. Will see what the hysteroscopy shows up xx

Hi all, I have my trigger shot tonight, I have developed some fluid around my right ovary but no symptoms. I have around 30 follicles and around 20 are about the right size. As long as fluid doesn't increase or I develop symptoms I will still hopefully go for a fresh cycle. Hope all is well xxx :)

Don't worry if you do have to delay, I know it'll be frustrating but it'll beach safer for you and give you a better chance at a BFP too as your body will have time to recover.
