Hi everyone. My very first posting.
I'm 43 , been trying to conceive for 4 or so years, been through 2 miscarriages at 6 & 8 weeks and now feeling a little despondent at the thought of never being called 'Mummy'. I'm overweight which is probably not a great help either.
I've just finished a 3 month shot at Clomid to try and boost things. Even tried laying with the legs up the wall for 30 minutes after sex, to no great effect - getting suffocated by the duvet over my head not a great help either (LOL).
Was given a blood test to get done once during the 3 months which showed clomid was doing it's job OK - it's just my body that isn't. Got another go at 3 months more and then the NHS let me go!
Just composed an e-mail to send to the 4 clinics we are now considering for possible IVF treatment - watch out bank account!

Love 'n Baby wishes

Hi there Carole,
Welcome and best of luck with the clomid. I know the pain mcs bring and it really hurts, let's hope it comes to an end for you shortly(come on clomid!!). There's a newbie thread if you want to "come out" there but you've found the clomid part straight away. The clomid chicks here seem lovely, mad but lovely!!! Good luckXX

I dont know if like me you think time is against you, just have fun trying.
