DIUI- Did your DH/DP go?

We are using DS to have a baby. Dh suggested it to me and swears he is totally fine with it. Baby's have been on our brains because we FINALLY have a date when we go to the DR. Well, we were talking about it last night...and DH does NOT want to go with me for the insemination. It hurt my feelings and made me question if he is ok as he says. Did any of your DH'S/DP'S say they didnt want to go for the insemination part?? Am I upset for no reason? ?(

Hiya, Hun

I can't speak from personal experience as I had solo treatment so no DP/DH to assist. 2 of my best FZ friends, though, both had DIUI. One's DH went with her for each insemination while the other refused to - he did not even want to know anything about the donor. The latter achieved a pregnancy through DIUI and her husband is as absolutely in love with his son as if he had been the genetic father. I think it is a matter of each coping with it in a different way and both ladies were fine with how their husbands handled the DIUI...

PCOS, hypothyroid - on thyroxine, aspirin and Met

DIUI X5 + 2 abandoned cycles (total 7 cycles)

At 3 and a half C finally gave up the boob!

Thank you lady's!!! Thank you so much for your support.

I think I will just accept DH's decision when we go. I don't want to make him hurt more then he already has. I would love for him to go with me, but if he doesn't I will not make a big deal out of it.
