Hi, I've replied on your other thread. Not at LGI at minute, but did have my treatment there. I found them very helpful, just excellent in general!

All the very best. Any questions at all, ask away!

Nicole - when I had my treatment back in 2005, they were actually very seperate. Totally different consultants. I had problems after EC, and needed admitting. They couldn't find a gynae bed for me at LGI at first and were on about tranferring me to Jimmy's, until my cons stepped in and said no. He wanted me where he was, and not under a totally different team - his words!! I used to work with someone who was at Jimmy's for her IVF tho, and she had the same opinion of them that I have of LGI.

Hi Saz
You are probably right. After ec I developed ohss and had to be admitted and there was never any question that I wouldn't stay at Jimmys. Are you having more treatmentnat the LGI?

I hope to at some point in the future. We are saving at the minute, and unless something major comes up, we intend to use them for another go.

hey

so which hospital are you at? Sorry if thats too nosey?! I could have gone to Jimmys, LGI or Manchester, Im not sure how they decide, guess it might just decide on who has a free spot at the right time.

and wow, look at your dates....you must be so excited/scared......

Hi BG
I have 2 children already and I am at St.James. Why did the fact the dp had a son stop you having your treatment there? Do you live in Leeds? I am under Dr Sharma and she definately knows her stuff!
:goodluck: on your 2ww what day are you testing?

Hi
I cant imagine how hard the 2ww is. I suppose the answer is just try to keep busy. I feel like I havent finished what I started because we had to freeze the embryos as I developed ohss. Just want to get on with it but cant for a couple of months so in a way I am waiting like you. I will keep everything crossed that you get the result you want.

I have got my appointment through for St James (Mrs Sharma).

I was wondering if anyone knows how long after this appointment I will actually start the IVF?

I cannot do anything until September due to miscarriage anyway but i was going to do a private go then.

thanks

We are having ISCI treatment at LGI, so far they have all been really helpful and friendly. I have seen people mention groups they can join for their areas, can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Lee
