definitely read:
an adoption diary maria james (through baaf) very new and real

raising adopted children lois ruskai melina (USA book but still very relevant)

considering adoption (sarah biggs) is a bit basic considering where you are in the process

the adoption experience (brief accounts on different topics, a bit depressing at times!)

will try to think of more

At least 20!!!! One helpful one was Parenting the Child who hurts but can't remember the rest except it's by Caroline Archer. I am happy to put up a bit of a booklist for books that would be useful though. But I need to get off my seat! Lolo Lesa xx
Keep smiling

Just to add a few to this that I've found helpful..

Adopting a Child - Jennifer Lord
Blue Eyed Son - Nicky Campbell - good book from the adopted person's point of view.
Adopters on Adoption - David Howe
A Child's Journey Through Placement - Vera Fahlberg (not read yet, but recommended to me)

Others mentioned above which are also worth a read:
An Adoption Diary - Maria James - great overview of the process
Parenting the Child Who Hurts - Caroline Archer - fascinating read..

I'll add any more as and when I read them..
ICSI number 5 - BFP!! :boy: :girl: arrived December 2010
