Funding from doctor- IVF drugs - success in Oxford or anywhere else?

Hi,
Has anyone had any luck getting their doctor to fund IVF drugs if you are not eligable for NHS IVF treatment?

Or anybody else got any hints on how to get this?
Thanks

My GP kindly prescribed the drugs for me when i had my private tx, however i was on the nhs waiting list at the time but i have a nice gp who would have prescribed them regardless.

I'm not sure that their are many gp's as lovely as mine but it can't hurt to ask can it :D

Good luck
