Pesa

HI Hope2009 here
Went with the DH today to have his PESA at the London Fedlitiy Centre, he is a bit sore but ok (he took me shopping after He He), I have a question they said they struggle to get some out of the right side, but the left side they got quite a bit, the trouble i have is they made a comment that there wasn't much movement in his sperm and we are to phone on Thursday to find out the results, they did say that sometimes this happens due to the procedure, has anyone else had this and is it a bad sign
Really panicing!!!

Hi Hope2009
my Dh had the procedure done and they told us at the clinic that they were unable to find any, apart from a few which were abnormal and not moving. I have not read anything that suggests the procedure can affect the sperm but I may be wrong. The clinic obviously want to wait and give your Dh's sperm the maximum chance.
Only one more sleep hunni and then you can call the clinic for the results, I really hope it is good news for you (fingers crossed x)

Have you posted a question in the male factor thread? you might be more replies there...

good luck x

Not good news
DH had the pesa and also they did a tesa, but the results have come back from the lab stating that his sperm is not motile, we are due to see the consultant on Monday 2nd Feb, not sure what will happen then, but it looks like our chance has gone
Would be interested to know if there is anything else that can be done ?

Sorry we haven't replied sooner but the news has really affected us both, lots of tears & Why's?? especially as we knew previously everything was ok as he had children from a previous relationship

Thanks for everyones support it does help
X
