I am not sure Ellie. I am about to embark on my first round of clomid and my prescription is for three months. I do know that you can only take it for a certain time before you need a break.

Hi Ellie, i was told by my specialist i can be on it a year! hasten to add im on month 10, and coming off it now, hated every single mini off it, im going to have a months break then go to IUI in february....

Hi Ellie, I think it depends, from conusltant to consultant, how long they will prescribe it for. Some may prescribe it for up to a year, some less than that.

when i got mine i was told six months and thats your lot but thinking about it, that was properbly due to the cost rather than my health
