I tried googling it too and just can't seem to find anything on the fertility side of things!!

We have our first appt there in a couple of weeks, so not sure what is going to happen. We have been referred there by a hospital close to us and the doctor didn't mention it. Ugh. Was hoping someone on here had been!!

Hi

I am having IVF treatment at Mayday at the moment. Just started my down reg injections. Mayday hospitals IVF staff are the same as the private hospital in Croydon called Shirley Oaks Hospital (we had alot of our tests done there first as covered under our health insurance).
We've now transferred to Mayday for our 1st time Free NHS IVF Cycle . The fertility nurses work for both Mayday and Shirley Oaks. Mr Booker is the guy who carries out all the procedures at both hospitals. He is very good and has an excellent reputation.
The telephone number for the ferility clinic at Mayday is 0208 401 3586.
All the nurses are lovely.

Everything is carried out at Mayday except the following:
After your eggs have been collected (at Mayday)
Your husband/ partner will need to take them to the Bridge Centre in a portable incubator. The Bridge centre is where the embryologists take over. This is located near London Bridge Station.
The embryologists will tell your husband/partner how many eggs there are and the result of the semen analysis (Your husband has to provide the sperm sample when he gets there) and he will be sent back to May day with the container.
The lab staff at the Bridge centre call you the next day to advise the fertilisation results.
The embryo transfer is carried out at the Bridge centre.
Then you wait two weeks to find out if the procedure has been successful.
If so, you will go back to see the nurses at Mayday for a scan etc.......
If not you will see the nurses at Mayday for counselling.

Hope that helps.
Give them a call and they will send you all the relevent information.

Best of luck

I had two treatments at Shirley Oaks and agree the nurses and Mr Booker are very good and friendly.

Didn't go to Mayday but seeing as they are the same staff it's good to know that they are professional while accommodating.
