Is anyone else really lethargic on their stimms/D'R? I can't be bothered to do anything, my sister was here until lunchtime today and since she left I've had a sleep and been on here for a little while. I don't seem to be suffering too badly with the headaches, it's just the lethargy.

Holly,

Hun I am so with you on the lethargy....I have so much to do but I so cannot be arsed!! Must train the dogs to be more useful!! :))

I keep eating the muffins I cooked yesterday instaed of actually making something. Good diet huh?

I might try a swim tomorrow to see if it helps a bit. I did feel a little better when I was walking the dogs earlier today.

That is the other thing actually, I am going a bit nuts. I was making Gary and me a cuppa before he went to work this morning. I only drink tea, he has coffee - I put coffee and sugar and a tea bag in my cup, and had to tip it out. I then put another tea bag in my cup, and then another - 2 tea bags no sugar. I am losing it big style.

Well, I am in the process of emailing Gaz a list for Tesco - can't even be arsed going shopping. My dogs haven't been out with me for 2 days, I can't even be bothered doing that. I can't believe how lazy I have become - I told Gaz to expect nothing to be done when he gets home and he says that is fine but I still feel like a right lazy mare.

It's really easy, you don't need photobcuket or anything. You just click browse and attach the pic direct from your own PC. [zx219] (soz, chuckle - I love that one) :D

Right click on the photo and go to 'open with', click on photoimpact and that will let you resize the pic. When it opens in photoimpact click on format and then go to image size.

Hi All,

Well looks like I have 5 follies ranging from 13.5,12,11,10,10. Been told not to panic yet as the Menopur is eased up now to allow the top 3 to develop only......well thats the plan anyway. Thing is my lining is still pretty thin at 5.5mm. Anybody got any pearls of wisdom on how to plump up my lining. I am a bit worried ?( I have got to go back for another scan tomorrow!!!
Any help greatfully received. Thanks girls

Nice follies eh!

All I did was put a warm hot water bottle on my tummy, I have heard this helps with the follies not sure about the lining, but my lining went up to 14.5 and one follie ended up at 22 and the other 17.

Just a little update on Reflexology if anyone is interested found a lady in Essex and this is what she told me, oh yeh and prices resonable also.

Yes, reflexology can dramatically turn around any problems with infertility. Much of the time infertility is caused by a hormonal imbalance which can cause difficulties for the embryo to develop or latch onto the uterine lining. Reflexology balances out the body's systems, bringing all the endocrine functions into balance so that everything is working together in harmony. Whilst undergoing treatment, the reflexologist can also ascertain which areas of the feet/body are congested and out of balance and therefore work these disturbed areas to ensure all the glands and organs of the body are functioning effectively.

The only thing I would mention is that its not an instant result - you would need at least 4 or 5 regular treatments before your next IUI. Ideally, you would have regular sessions before and after treatment (regular reflexology throughout pregnancy helps maintain a balanced environment, reduces morning sickness and related pregnancy problems and reduces labour time by 1/3). However, this is not ideal for most people as it can get very expensive and time-consuming.

What I would suggest - that is, if this IUI definitely hasnt worked, because you never know - is that you try to optimise your chances by looking at your diet (cut down on sugar / chocolate / caffeine / alcohol) take any supplements if needed, and try to have a few regular treatments before your next IUI.

I work as a mobile reflexologist at the moment as I have a 3 year old (I underwent IVF and understand all the stress this entails) and charge £25 for one session, or £40 for two sessions or £15 for a taster session (30 mins).

In cases where more frequent shorter-length treatments are needed (for reasons of expense or for the condition itself), a 30-minute session once or twice a week is offered.

If you are unsure, you are very welcome to try a taster session for £15 to see how you get on and if you are happy with
it.

Hi all
Bled a little today so I guess that's it for this attempt....I'll call the clinic tomorrow to sort out next months go. Saw a friend on Tuesday & she said today that she didn't know how I could NOT be pregnant as I had looked so awful on Tuesday......Cheers!!!..Still she sent me a virtual hug and will bring me chocs tomorrow so I guess that makes up for it.

Minnie - good luck for tomorrow, I don't know how to increase the lining but the hot water bottle idea sounds comforting anyway.

Mel - will you try the reflexology? I had a go at Shiatsu for the first IUI attempt but didn't persevere as just couldn't relax.....I think I have a problem with other people touching me.....not a good phobia in this game!!

Anyway, I'm going to get a glass of wine and sit on the sofa till DH gets home when I'll probably burst into tears and start throwing things!!!
Fun evening then!!

Bye for now
Debbie
Me 32 DH 35
2 m/c's then sub-infertility for 3 yrs
6 months clomiphene - no success

DH has reduced 'activity' and I have family history of premature menopause
Had 1 IUI BFN (Oct 05)
second go (Jan 06) - hyperstimmed so abandoned
Third go at IUI unsuccessful too. Had IVF in July 06 and lucky first time - Fraggle due on 8th April 2007!!!

I am due on today and I tested this morning - BFN!
Plan to call clinic today even though not properly started my period yet, just reddish discharge so far.

DH and I are just finishing off our 'remodelling' of the house we've been in for the past 8 yrs.....keep looking at all this bedrooms and wondering why we've done this...no-one to put in them!!....I know that's negative but I'm allowing a bit of negativity until I get to work when I'll be appropraitely smiley with my patients!

Mel - good luck with giving up caffeine....went a bit mad when I tried that so do it slowly!......COULDN'T stop all choc but have reduced intake!

Thanks for everyones supportive messages, it does really help. I'll echo Mel in sending positive thoughts to everyone about to embark on this roller-coaster!

Bye for now
Debbie

Oh Debs I am so sorry, I know exactly how your feeling honey, but dont give hope you have to stay positive xxxx

My friend is pregnant and she has been advised to drink ovaltine.

Compared to plain milk, Ovaltine* contains nearly twice as much calcium, five times more folic acid and zinc, and 25 times more iron.
