I thought I would round of this board - being the last to post my results...
Some of what I am about to say may make peope mad at me, some may pity me, some... well, some just may not get it, and yet others may...
I went off to have my blood drawn and 3 hours later AF showed up. I did not have wait for my result - the evidence was in my knickers.
I started the day feeling shite - have caught cold - had a sick day yesterday, but they begged me to come in today. Stupid me, I did.
Halfway through the day I got my 'result' and for the rest of the day I saw the world through a watery but very thoroughly RED haze. I lashed out at my shift leader who is 8 months pregnant just because she is. I glared at pregnant women being admitted so much that the matron came over to have a talk. I was downright rude to my patients as MY patience has worn thin - so my job may well be on the line. I could not concentrate. Every time I stood still for 2 seconds I felt so sick I could throw up, but every time I tried to do some work I couldn't figure out what came next. If anyone tried to talk to me about what the hell is going on I would burst into tears.
I am miserable and feeling desperately sorry for myself...
The thought that there are people pregnant out there while I am not - yes even the FZ ladies who have been through a lot to get there - makes me want to scream in rage and hatred.
I need to get my head screwed back on straight!!! I need to pick up the pieces and sew them back together. I need to figure out exactly what the Hades I am going to do now...
So, I am going to take a break from FZ. It may be days, it may be weeks, it may be months. Who knows? I certainy don't...

Rene ...

so so sorry to read this hun. But, this is a great place to vent your frustrations, no-one is going to be mad at you at all. We we will certainly not pity you. Everyone here has been through what you're feeling right now, so we're a great place for you to ask for help.
You've been one who offers help and hugs to us when we've been there.

We all feel anger and totally un-founded feelings towards people whom who don't know, but are pg at some point or another, please don't feel you're on your own at all through any of this.

Do you have to work tomorrow? Perhaps it would be nice to have a long weekend away from work, and away from places where pg ladies will be seen. I know Dave and I have just stayed in sometimes, just gone for walks etc, not gone out for food or anything, just with friends.

I understand how you want to stay away from FZ for a while, but know that we're here to give you comfort when you need it

Rene....my friend.....I did not cry for myself, but I am now sobbing for you. I am so sorry. No words at this point will encourage or pacify you I know that. But please remember that, along with many other people on this site, I care about you and that I am here for you whenever you might need me. However big or small....day or night.
You know how to reach me.

Love and hugs

Hi Rene

I have not been on the site for a while but came on tonight to see how the people I had met were doing. I was so sorry to read your response - and understand how you feel. Trying to get pregnant seems to take over your whole life and you think it so unfair that other people are having babies and not you.
Sending you lots of hugs and wishes. Hope things work out for you. Take care and hopefully you will not leave FZ for too long.
