AARRGGHH

AARRGGHH

I am due for round 3 of IUI and was supposed to go in for a scan and to start treatment today.
However, i have been told this morning that i need to have a consultant scan me prior to and throughout my treatment. He is on holiday for the next 2 weeks, so my treatment has to wait. Lots of swear words are coming to mind.
The last round of IUI was abandonded because i was overstimulated. The nurses had NEVER seen my left ovary and it turns out that's beacuse it is parallel to my belly button. It wasn't until i was overstimed that they found my ovary with 20 follies on it. You are allowed 2 at most..

Surely not a good sign?? Any thoughts??

Slight agitated to say the least.

Thanks Kara and Fairy

I don't think i would mind so much if i was younger, but then maybe i would.

It has taken me three years, five months and the loss of 4 stone to get this far, so another 2 weeks is no big deal in the bigger scheme of things.
What worries me is that the consultant feel the need to personally scan me throughout.

Any way. Rant over, i will just have to have a glass of wine tonight. Wait a minute, the government have said that women trying to conceive have not to drink alcohol. I think i will rebel. :box:

Kara, have been thinking about you. Big hug

rebel tracey rebel- i think those guidelines are meant so you don't drink in the 2ww really.

how very very frustrating- to them its no big deal but its like no one thinks about how much you have to build yourself up, and make plans to be able to drop everything to go for scans every couple of days etc- its a huge deal, and rightly so after all this build up you feel annoyed. its not fair. but it is friday. so I say have three glasses!
adoption...after a typically long journey, approved November 05, linked with strawb December 05, Brought our princess home May 06, aged 21 months

Thanks Vegemite

I may just go the whole hog and have a bottle or even two.
I realise the government guidelines are there for a reason, but if i had to have stopped drinking, then i should have been tee total for 3 1/2 years. Inconceivable.

There is also a small issue of missing T in the Park. Is that selfish?
The things we do for a baby, but i know it will be so worth it.
