Sorry to hear that Ash. It's such a blow after such a long process of drugs etc. Sometimes I think fet are more successful as your body hadn't been through so much. My body was swollen and sore this time but I was given OSHH drugs this time which I think helped sending a hug. Have a big glass of wine and take your time xx

Ash sorry to hear that. Unfortunately i didn't get any frozen for NHS cycle but I think I read before that it can take 2-3 months for review. I also read that you can pay money to get seen quicker (ring nhs) to confirm. I am having FET privately in Jan. You don't have all the same drugs (if you do have any at all ) I dont ovulate properly so i have to. I get a one off injection which is given by nurse (prostap) to down reg then I have progynova tablets to take to increase the linning of womb. They also gave me estidrol patches aswell as my linning is always slow to drow.

Misty I haven’t booked yet, they gave me a letter to fill in and post back once I had taken my test so I will do that tomorrow.
Hopefully I would be in the same boat as you I don’t ovulate. I will probably just give my body the time to recover and then go from there. Thank you all for your kind messages x

Hi Ash, I'm so sorry to hear your news. It really is devastating, but it's great that you have some frosties. After my failed nhs cycle i got my review appointment less than 7 weeks after my test date. I thought it would be much longer to wait as the letter said 10-12 weeks and I had looked into getting a private appointment to hurry things along but in the end didn't need to as the appointment let her came fairly quickly. This time it was private with rfc but my appointments was only 4 weeks after my test date c

I've been having brown spotting on and off which clinic said was pessaries and normal. Today I had red blood which covered a panty liner, but has since gone brown and only when I wipe really. Guess it's just a waiting game now. Hope you're doing ok. My clinic was closed when i rang, i rang a locql early pregnsncy unit byt you have to be referred to go there. Rubbish. Not a lot they can do anyway xx

Hi Hopefully, I'm doing ok. Coming to terms with the failed cycle noe so feeling better than I was. Looking forward to Christmas abd then we're going to try again in the new year maybe around April time. Give ourselves a few months to get our heads together and it's my best friends wedding in November so want to wait so I'll still be able to go to that. Good luck for your FET in the new year x
Congrats Cherry, that's great news!

Misty, my scan is on 14th. I haven't tested again since spotting as knew seeing the weeks not change would stress me out. I'll find out either way in 4 dsys! Feel anxious but nothing we can do is there. I don't really have any symptoms either. Felt sick a bit last week but not now, boobs don't hurt and not weeing loads like I expected. Slightly off food but that may be nerves. Xx

So glad we’re back up and running-was trying all day yesterday!
Hope everyone is keeping well. 6 out of my 7 had fertilised yesterday so have to call back tomorrow to see when egg transfer will be. Is it better news if they keep them until 5 days or better for them to be transferred on 3 days? I dont know what I should be wanting to hear tomorrow lol
Fingers crossed for scans ladies. How are you feeling? I have been feeling awful since egg collection but I think thats to be expected x

I know Pup. I truly believe in positive thinking but I know I'll be a ball of nerves the day before. We can only remind ourselves there's nothing we can do and whatever will be, will be.

I called yesterday so I could plan my xmass better and the lovely lady booked us for the scan for the 2nd of January :)

Glee, 6 fertilized is really good! We had 5 embryos out 5 mature eggs and we were chuffed. Our thinking throughout was, it only takes one. I think they aim for day 5 transfers but there's lots of successful stories out there with day2/3 transfers. It truly only takes one. Best of luck, I have my fingers crossed for you

I assume you're on progesterone? Could it be it's already affecting you?

I recovered quickly from EC and only had mild cramping. Then after transfer I only had few days of mild cramping and then nothing for several days. Then 7dpt out of the blue my abdomen bloated all the way up to my ribs, it was hard rock and really really sore. It was like I popped! I had been wearing my usual pants till then and I had to go out and buy new jeans. Then next day my new jeans didn't fit any longer!! I also had lots of nausea.

Today it was the first day without progesterone. Bloating has considerably subsided, I fit again on my new jeans (I think fitting into my pretreatment ones would be asking for too much XD), and abdominal pain and nausea are gone!! I had read lots about how nasty progesterone could be, but I didn't realize most of symptoms could be from it!!

Good luck for your call tomorrow :D

Evening ladies.
Glee- I felt horrendous after my egg collection for at least 3-4 days, so think it's normal for you to feel bad. Hopefully you'll feel better by the weekend. Both 3 and 5 day transfers are good. They usually decide depending on how many embryos are still going strong. I know two people who have had babies from 3 day embryos. I had 5 day and fingers crossed all going ok.
Have you been told to stop progesterone altogether cherry? I have another 3-4 weeks to continue taking it. Can't wait to stop as think they are my problem in terms of spotting xx

They only gave me 18 doses of nicrone and my protocol says to take your last one on test day?

Was yours a fresh cycle Pup? I know they tend to keep people on progesterone for longer for FETs.

From previous investigations we know that my progesterone levels are good so I'm not worried about stopping it- nevermind after how much better I feel today!
