Hi! Last Saturday I had my first egg retrieval for ICSI procedure. They collected 12 eggs, out of which 8 were mature enough and 4 got fertilized and survived day 1. They put 2 in embyoscope and 2 in incubator. The thing is that doctor said that my eggs were very fragile and we have to wait till the fourth fifth day... but she didnt look very optimistic. She also said that apart from fragile the wall is very thick.

I am 33 with PCOS with 2 miscarriages at 5-8 week. Anyone knows more about fragile eggs and the chances to get an embryo? Fragile egg means bad quality egg? Can it be improved somehow in another cycle?
