Hi everyone not sure which thread to go on, but I had my very important phone call this morning to say that both my 5 day frosties had survived the night. So we're just back from the clinic with them on board for now! They are both good grade and hatching which is good apparently? Trying to be a lot more chilled out this time. Its definitely the last time we try, so come Christmas Day we will know for sure.

Hope everyone else is ok. Feel free to move my post to the right place!

Hey stucks,

That's wonderful news :-) they must be fab blasts if they survived the thaw, did you get both put bk? It's unusual for a clinic to transfer more than 1 blast... From what iv read..

I will be testing 23-25th..

Hope we both have an extra amazing Christmas!!

Good luck!!

Your clinic should have a price list online. For me frozen was about a third of the price of fresh x

6 x IVF, 3 x FET
3 x MMC, 3 x :BFN:, 1 x failed thaw

They do, I just didn't know if it was an all in price or plus drugs, scans etc. I know I have to phone and make an appointment soon, well maybe by the end of jan, we're going skiing in feb before we start again, which is why we're in no real hurry.
Thanks.

Hey girls,

It's now 4 days since transfer.. Had period like cramps yesterday and they seem to have eased off today.

Still got 6 days to go before I test...

I don't expect to be pregnant cos I know our embryos weren't very strong at transfer but I'm still nervous

Thanks snuggly and Dusky. I'm completely chilled (so far!) I think xmas for testing is great timing for me as I have so much to do in the last week getting organised so I'm praying it'll fly by. Snuggly positive thinking! Fingers crossed for us both.

Regards fet prices I think my clinic is very expensive. But I do love it there, and their results are good.

Snuggly I am the same, got sore (.)(.) on and off, and a twinge like pain on my right side. Also having a butterfly like feeling like I'm nervous (which i probably am!) since the transfer, and this morning feeling like i could gag at any second.
Thank you TigerLillyPetal. I did feel like this early on with my son but don't want to dare compare symptoms as I am trying to stay realsitic, my womb just does not play ball no matter how strong the embies are..
Thank goodness for an early school finish tomorrow, hoping having my boy home will distract me.

Hope everyone is well.

Stucks your symptoms sound promising!! Surely the gagging feeling might be a sign, iv my fingers crossed for u.

I don't feel anything!! Had lots of twinges yesterday, nothing today.

I've got sore boobs too, started under my arms today which is usual sign of AF coming. Arghhh so hard to know with the progynova and cyclogest pessaries!!

Not long to go and like you I'm kept busy with all things Christmassy!!

I think I will have a wee mulled wine while I wrap my presses :-)

I wish I hadnt been so organised with my wrappling snuggly as it would have given me something to do today. All positive thoughts have left me, feeling really depressed and teary. Just want to sleep until xmas day. I started out so well, and now I'm a mess!

How are you doing? Hopefully better than me.

Stucks I'm exactly the same, it's natural that the closer testing day gets the harder its going to be.
I feel teary too and more crampy past few hours like AF is on the way.

Fingers crossed for both of us.

When is your hpt day? Mine is Monday but I don't think I'm brave enough to test, I think I will just wait and see if AF shows up!! Xxx

Hi Snuggly,
I was teary all yesterday and crampy still one side. Bbs are sore on and off but easing a bit.
My hpt is Christmas day. How we're going to manage to do it with an excited 6 year old wanting to leg it downstairs i do not know. do you think it would be too early to test xmas eve? just to get it out of the way? I'm nervous but want it over with at the same time.
My hubby has been amazing, I've been on a diet for the last year and really restricted my chocolate. He came home with a big bar of choc yesterday and said we're munching it xmas day whatever the outcome. He's just cooked a grill up too and is currently washing up, i am lucky.
But dreading him going back to work Monday. Be brave on Monday and do it! I have everything crossed for you. x

Snuggly, don't be disheartened hun, the earliest you can get a positive result is 9days post 5dt as there's just isn't enough Hcg in your wee before then. Thinking positive thoughts for you both, been following this thread as we are planning on using our one frozen embryo we have, hope you don't mind.

We're really not sure yet, possibly March, I'm not ready mentally or physically at the moment as had a miscarriage in November. We've got a consultation in February to discuss options. Don't forget to use first response, early response tests not clearblue. Sending sticky vibes to you both.

Thanks Snuggly, I finally managed to get pregnant for the first time ever so it's really knocked me for six, not that it's ever easy for anyone.

Supermarkets are the cheapest, around £6 for two and they will be worth every penny when you get that positive line x.

Hi How is everyone?
Snuggly I have everything crossed for you for the morning. Please let us know how you get on.
Tiger I am very sorry to see you had a miscarriage. Look after yourself, take plenty of time to grieve and best of luck for future treatments, you will get there i'm sure.

So hubby continues to be amazing through the toughest days I've had so far. 2 very teary days along with no symptoms whatsoever and I was naughty at the weekend and tested KNOWING it would be way too early, and of course got BFN. I have decided to stay away from the dreaded sticks until after OTD which is Xmas day.
I feel much better today, clear headed and aware that this could go either way. symptoms have returned big time so i think it lifts you somehow, feeling rotten!
We have agreed that we will ignore OTD as have an amazing xmas day with our son. And test on Boxing day when we always have a duvet day. either way we wouldn't be going to clinic til monday so it makes sense.
Sorry for going on!

Snuggly I am so upset for you and OH. Take some 'you' time over christmas, do all the things we're restricted on when we're having treatment, and all the best for your future treatments.
I am not even nervous now. I have put it out of my mind I may not even test at all, until morning before clinic as I feel better not knowing and have so many family here I don't want to put a downer on anything over xmas
But thank you all for your best wishes. I will of course post when i have the result.
We're all set up for xmas and determined its going to be a fun one.
I hope everyone has a lovely time with their loved ones.

Snuggly I'm sorry your suffering :-( I'm sure i'll be the same in a few days. How are you feeling apart from the horrendous af?
I have to phone the clinic to arrange the blood test first thing and I'm hoping to get it out of the way first thing. How long do they keep you hanging with the results? Obviously we know the result already but don't want to take meds after tomorrow if I can help it.

I hope everyone is enjoying xmas with their families. I've tried really hard but not really been into it this year for obvious reasons. All my family go home tomorrow so I want to DE XMAS the house and sort through the mound of toys!

Hey Stucks, I'm a bit like you, ready to leave Christmas behind and start the new year ASAP!!! Drinking eating all i can and want before I start again on the healthiness and prepping for cycle number 3!

I don't know if anyone has any experience of egg quality? I am 31 years old with good amh (30) and with last cycle they collected 18 eggs but we only had 5 embryos and then all seemed to slow down by day 3... Had slight ohss so not sure if that destroyed some eggs..H is like superman with his SA so no issues there...Don't get it....wondering is it my eggs, the protocol, the lab... Confused! Hopefully getting appt in Jan to discuss next steps... Anyone ever had karyotyping to diagnose, genetic issues with eggs? Hoping for answers soon..
